  • Why don't plants suck up the extra carbon dioxide in the air?

Best answer: They do elevated levels of C02 promote more vigorous plant growth and thus an enhanced absorbtion of C02. Well they take up some of it anyway probably much more than the Climate Change religion wants us to know about.

  • Mold on a kiwi?

There was a small black speck on the skin of the kiwi and inside, on the flesh, was a bigger white-ish tan color mold(?). It i accidentally ate some of it. Didn't taste weird or off or anything, wasn't overripe either since it was still very firm. Was it mold?

  • I found four -four leaf clover in one day. Have this happen to you?

    Best answer: Yes.
I noticed 7 or 8 one day when I was weeding out a flower garden that had been overrun with clover.
I probably pulled out more, but I didn't notice them.

Personally, I thought that the clover made a nice, subdued green background effect; but the head honcho wanted them out!

I've been pondering lately exactly what it is that drug dogs 'smell for' when they detect cannabis in a car or on a person. Terpenes are what gives the plant that an array of smells, ranging from fruity to cheesy to diesel all with a skunky after tone. There's over 200 terpenes that have been identified so far. Many of them in very trace amounts, mixed with the more commonly found ones. THC is the part in cannabis that gets you high. It's turned into THC when heated, but it starts as THCA in its raw form. THCA is supposedly tasteless and odorless when extracted to its purest form. Basically my theory is that the dogs smell the terpenes and wouldn't be able to detect new THCA concentrate extracts. Anyone else have any further insight?

  • Is cotton considered a fruit?

Best answer: Yes: The fruit, called bolls, then begin to develop. These green, immature bolls are a segmented pod containing approximately 32 immature seeds from which the cotton fibres will grow. The boll is considered a fruit because it contains seeds.

  • How does a tree represent home?

Today in class, our professor had us explaining the symbolic of a tree. Right, I am also thinking the same as you, what the hell. ANYHOW, I explained it and expressed it the best I could. Now, he wants us to correlate it to home. What is your interpretation of a tree representing home?
