I found that odd. Then when walking home from work just now a man was walking his dog across the road and the dog stopped and stared at me for a little while again until the owner kind of tugged him to go.. it was so bizarre. They didn t bark or growl, they just stared Do you know why this is??

Okay here's a little info on the situation. I'm twenty-three by the way and live in an apartment by myself, well with dozed now. Well my mom decided two months ago to surrender dozer to the shelter; (which I'd also helped take care of when I was living with her.) because her current boyfriend at the time was allergic to dogs. As soon as I'd found out she'd done that I went and adopted him two days later; which she was angry about for some reason. Two months down the road, her boyfriend is her ex and she wants dozer back. I told her no, and now she's talking about taking me to court and even mentioned fighting me. She says that giving dozer back is the right thing to do, and that I don't really have a choice.

I wrote my parents a 3 page letter going over some good thing and bad about fostering. For the bad points i included how we could overcome it. When my parents read it only my mom was convinced and she was trying to convinced my dad. However now my dad has seemed to unconvinced my mom. In adition to the letter i have been volunteering with my local foster group and helping out at the meet and greats. The biggest reason why i would like to foster a dog is because i am thinking of being a dog groomer or trainer in future. I have not had much experience with dogs (aside from volunteering) and hope fostering with give me some. i am at the time in my life where people want to know what i plan to do with my life. If i havent had much experience with dogs i wont know of dog traing or grooming is right for me.

  • As a dog owner, do you refer to your dog by his/her name?

Best answer: Of course. I have two so I often need to identify which dog (hound!) I'm referring to. If I'm talking to somebody who doesn't know me or my hounds, I usually say (dog's name) my Basset or ((name) my Whippet. But it does depend on each situation - whether the individual needs to know the names... show more

  • Can my puppy live outside?

Best answer: This is an animal. What you describe is more than a lot of people get. It is perfectly fine. There are a lot of dogs that prefer to be outside. Nothing wrong with that at all, but I rather doubt you need a camera. He'll be fine. You might want to use straw instead of hay, it's better for insulation.

They spent 7-8 years together by each others side, and they seemed to like each other quite a bit. But it seemed after his death she has seemed lethargic, not eating much. She sleeps a lot now, but sometimes she lays down and has her eyes open for a while, and she doesn't look very happy when she does. It's also possible that it could be she's pretty old (12 years old, and shes a Labrador), and she also had her uterus removed late April this year. But I honestly feel that she is still sad over her best friends death (Of course I don't blame her, I just wanna know why shes like this)

Our vert gave us two, 7 day Galliprant samples for him to try. Each sample has 7 60mg tablets. While we do love this dog to the moon and back and would do anything for him, we were told that Galliprant will cost ~$40-$70 a month for a 30 day supply. I'm just not sure if we can afford that. If we have no other option, we will pay however. Does anyone know of a less expensive alternative to Galliprant?
