  • All of my earbuds only work on one side?

So I’m trying to use my earbuds and the sound is only coming out of one side. This happens on every set of earbuds I have tried. it affects anything that plugs into the jack. I know it’s not a problem with the settings because Bluetooth audio works fine. How do I fix this? The problem is on an iphone 6s and an iPad Pro

And no, I don t mean earplugs. I mean earbuds that are for music and such. I get sensory overloads really easily so at night to avoid having to listen to the noises of cars or people talking (on occasion) I usually listen to soft rain sound effects or ambient nature sounds. Getting a noise maker isn t really an option either because it s not effective in helping block out the noises of the real world. I often sleep on my side rather my back, so that means a lot of the time the earbuds push into my ears a bit. Is it safe to wear these at night? I d like to avoid long-term damage if at all possible, obviously. The brand is Skullcandy.

I've currently got a cheap THX speaker set with a subwoofer and it (in my opinion) sounds better than the single speakers I've seen at the tech stores (Sony Bass for example). I just want a single standing unit as I'm fixing my room up and it will look too cluttered having a big subwoofer on the ground as well as two random speakers. I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount, but the sound quality is important to me. I just want something for my bedroom for listening to music. I like a full sound, rich sound and a good bass. I listen to all sorts of music, but mostly classics. I'd really appreciate if you could give me some recommendations as I don't know much about speakers. Thanks!

The noise should stop when you connect a signal source to the cable, rather than it having an "open input".

If you mean it's squealing or hissing _very_ loudly rather than just faint hum or hiss, that can be a problem with the power supply - not enough current rating or the wires to the amp too long / thin - or the input wires are too near the output wiring.

Power problems can often be reduced by adding a fairly large electrolytic capacitor and a smaller ceramic or polyester capacitor directly to the amp power terminals. eg. 470 or 1000uF and 0.1 uF.

Twist together any "paired" wires if they are more than a couple of inches long - the +/- (and ground?) power wires and (separately) the speaker wires.

  • Why does my Tesla NC 420 turntable buzz when I turn it on? What do I need to make it work?

Found a turntable at some market for cheap, I don t know if it works. I m an absolute noob in this, but I connected it and it all spins a vinyl but only a very loud buzz is coming from the speakers. What do I need to add? A transformator? What is it called? How do I connect it?

What's the best way of going about doing this? I only need the car amplifier to run at full tilt for less than 20 minutes since movies would probably never use that much power and I doubt I could take that much volume for longer than that. Also, would I be able to connect a battery charger in parallel so that I can keep the battery charged when the amps are not being in use? is there anything bad in keeping the battery charger connected whilst the amps are being in use?
