  • Where should I visit in California?

I'm looking for life experiences... traveling my own state, then other states, then other countries. I'm not necessarily looking for the purpose of fun/leisure/vacation but to meet other people, branch out of my comfort zone, and expand my perspective. Anything that will as VALUE to my life.

If you're looking for something inexpensive, visit the Gaslamp district in Downtown and maybe sample some restaurants. My pick, however, is Balboa Park, as there are lots of great museums to go to--some days out of the month, they're free admission, too! Old Town is also a fun choice, and it hosts good sights, good food, and good shopping.

You can also go to Point Loma and visit the Cabrillo Monument, which is close to the wate
Best place to eat is Buca di Beppo in downtown

  • How much would it cost to drive from San Diego to Oregon?

My friends and I are planning on going on a little trip up to Oregon. We were wondering how much it would cost and how long would it take for us to get there. We are driving a 2014 Focus Ford car. If anyone can help me on how much gas money you think we would need or anything else that would help a lot, thanks!

  • What s the best halfway point between Los Angeles and San Diego?

Best answer: On the coast near Del Mar. Spent a lovely vacation there. Drove down to SDO to have Christmas dinner at the famous Hotel Del Coronado. Then drove up to Disneyland from there on another day. The drives both ways are roughly an hour one way, but on freeway so they are easy drives.

Best answer: Gonna be EXPENSIVE, also parking will be a premium meaning while you might get a spot with your condo any friends who want to visit will be at the mercy of meters or pay to park parking lots. Also if you're near the gaslamp/embarcadero IT WILL be noisy (and possibly busy) almost everyday.

And the week around comic-con will be even more psychotic in every single way, so definitely do try to do much driving then.

Other than that if you can afford it I wouldn't go past 10th street going east (that's like my personal limit/border between nice/ok and super sketchy/dangerous), and if I had to suggest one area the condos around the back of the cortez hotel (which is now a condo building too) seem pretty nice to me (I walk that area a lot)
