Back then I applied to so many jobs but none have responded to me, probably because I was doing my masters degree, and my bachelors and most of my experience years are from overseas. I've 9 years of professional experience, 3 as technology analyst/consultant and five as high profile personal and virtual executive assistant for high profile private families. I don't want to take the risk to move to New York without a job offer since I'm tight on cash Thank you for your time

  • I looked at a Brooklyn apartment, a guy looking for a roommate. He had bunch of Asian women in his living room with sewing machines.?

Should I rent there? The whole thing was very sketchy. There are boxes of clothes he said he was selling on Canal Street in Manhattan. Is it an illegal sweat shop? Will he get raided? The thing is, the place was awesome and a great rent for NYC. Prospect Park was right across the street.

Best answer: there are several contenders. 181 St on the A line can give a heart attack if the elevator is out of service. Bowery probably has the strongest smell of urine, any 14 or 34 Street station is most overcrowded

  • Moving to NYC or Washington DC?

Best answer: Flip a coin. I have lived in Silver Spring Md. and worked in DC. I have lived in Jersey City and gone to school in NYC. Each is totally different. It depends on your personality. I'd prefer NYC but only marginally.
