LOL I now I sound like a wimp, it's just something I've always had in my head they way they portray black life in California in movies. Please tell me if I'm nuts or if my phobia is warranted.

  • How much money should I save to move to nyc?

Best answer: I suggest saving way more then that. Food, has, car, tickets, rent, clothes, utilities, hygiene stuff, all of that costs a lot. I know you will pack some but I suggest saving up maybe 6,000? 7,000? Just to be safe. And if you don’t need it you can get a better apartment!

Any details from anyone who has travelled America before greatly appreciated, but here's a few questions to anyone that can answer: 1. Roughly how much for plane tickets? 2. Which are the cheapest of the eastern states to visit, and how much can I expect accommodation to cost? 3. Is it possible to get a part time/small job for the time I'm over there? Thank you!

Hey! I'm looking for a town to move to in California in the future (probably not for Quite A While.) And I have a few specifications... I would like to be able to see the stars at night (this is the most important one) I would like it to be within at least an hour or two from the water and I would like for it to have a good education system that is supportive of the arts (as I will be a high school art teacher after college) Money is not an issue as if this is something I am passionate about I will save up for it. I'm not dead set on moving, I would just like to see if there were any cities out there that I would like, and after doing some of my own research I thought maybe some people on here would be able to help. Thank you!

  • Adults and Disney?

What is your personal opinion on adult women wearing Disney items? An example would be a woman with a Minnie Mouse purse. Also, what age do you think someone should stop wearing Disney things?

Best answer: I live in California where most of my friends self identify as "Latin women". Some of you are fine, some are not, pretty much just like any other subgroup.
