Baring in mind, if it was next year, I would be 18, so therefore considered as an adult. Also another sidenote, I d be travelling from the UK, so quite a far distance away from home. Overall, it would be the furthest I ve gone from home, as I ve never gone outside of Europe. The times I have been abroad is with my parents and siblings, but I just have the urge to want to travel and somewhat do it independently. But I m not sure if I m scared of the concept of being so far from home, and being alone. Baring in mind, I m taking a gap year, so I m not going to university next year, so I would really like to travel somewhere.

  • Question about traveling!?

So I'm looking on Groupon and it says $800 per person, twin share for 7 nights. But then it says, price is per person, based on twin share (two people traveling together) so does that mean $800 for two people? Also any travel advice you have for beginners, thank you!

  • Why do you get a cheaper price on priceline than at a motel front desk?

I booked a hotel for my boyfriend and I to stay in Wildwood, NJ by the beach. We bought it through Groupon just like we do for most of our short getaway trips. I obliviously didn t read the fine print closely because it says that you must be 25 to check into the hotel. We are both 23 years old and I bought the trip for the two of us with my Discover CC which I have been an owner of for a while. I also have excellent credit, am a recent college grad and a full-time teacher. Does anyone think I ll be able to still check-in and stay despite that the hotel has a minimum age of 25? We leave next Sunday so we don t have time to cancel and get a refund...I read online that most hotels give exceptions to couples and usually they don t even check about the age. I don t really want to call the hotel and ask because I want to be able to present my case if they happen to reject me at eh front desk versus hearing my high pitch voice on the phone.

But here's a good way for you to determine if it is worth. Imagine that your leave gets cancelled. Would you be very disappointed. If not, it probably isn't worth it. If so, it is probably worth it and the greater the disappointment, the more it is worth it.

  • When you travel anywhere, what types of "Souvenirs" do you tend to buy for your personal memory of the holiday or journey? And why?

Best answer: I used to buy coffee mugs because I figured it would be functional but now we've got like two dozen coffee mugs >_>. Also t-shirts, but same story there. Now I try to focus on things that are maybe just for decoration, but which are heavily rooted in the culture of the country or place we were at.

  • Can you stay in Premier in during the day?

I was just wondering if you are allowed to go in your hotel room during the day, or if it's only at night. My mother said that you can't, but I wasn't sure if that was true.

Trains are a great way to get around in Italy while you're there. In the 14 years I lived in Italy I almost always took trains to go out exploring rather than driving. http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en . Florence was one of my favorite places in Italy. Rather it's worth your time or not really depends on your interests.

One that is somewhat close to the festivities said they were completely booked that weekend when I called them. I went to booking.com soon after that and they had availability so I booked it no problem. My question is, is this legit? If the hotel said they were full how can booking.com have an opening? Can the hotel turn me away when I get there even though I confirmed with booking.com? Thanks:)
