• Cheap countries for transit vacation?

What are some very cheap countries for transit vacation apart from Amsterdam, Netherlands and Thailand. I want to go away for two or three months to different countries. I'm not talking about travel ticket, I mean the ones with the cheapest deals and hotels.

I live in Bosnia&Herzegovina and(i'm gonna be honest) it sucks here. I'm thinking of moving to one of these places, help me choose. -Australia -Austria (I might be staying there after college) -UK -USA -New Zealand -Germany I would preffer the country i live in to have: -Job oppurtunities for the fields i am planning to major in (listed above) -No Social Justice Warriors or PC groups -No obligitary gender theory (that is why i didn't put canada on the list) -At least a decent weather -Good healthcare -Not too high taxes Feel free to suggest other countries bellow but keep in mind i only speak English and (still learning) German Also,if Canada removes the B-16 bill, you can consider it a pick on my list.

Best answer: That's a tough question. Certainly going as a tourist doesn't show you what living there is like. When you stay for a while, you tend to go through stages of acculturation, including culture shock, where you may be really uncomfortable for a while. For student studying abroad, that often happens in the 3rd or 4th month. That's why we often advise students to go for a full year, not just a semester. One semester gives them just enough time to go into culture shock. But it's still different from living in a place permanently, where you're dealing with the issues of arranging and paying for housing, utilities etc., going to work every day, coping with the people as co-workers and neighbors. I don't think you can really know what those things are like until you do them.

I recently took a road trip across the US and I realized that every city pretty much looks similar to each other.

Budgeting is the best thing you can do. You should know where every penny goes. You should sit down and budget out for the up coming month. Plan where each dollar goes.
Spend the money to meet with a finanacial adviser.

You may have to go through another security check where they screen your carry on bag and you walk through the scanner. The exception would be if you are going from an international to a domestic flight, as, for example, landing in the EU and traveling to another EU country. Then you go through immigration and customs in the first country you land in.

It has it s pro s and con s. :)
