Last year I planted broccoli for the first time and it went to seed immediately. The same thing happened to my aunt. I was wondering what we are doing wrong? We are from Canada so I was thinking it might be too cold for broccoli here? Or maybe my aunt and I just suck at gardening. haha. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello! My dog recently passed away and I want to turn his silver water bowl into a flower pot as I way to kind of keep him close and have a memento around me. I typically dont do diy projects but this one means a lot to me. I always thought it would cute to turn the bowl into a flowerpot for a small flower since the bowl is medium/large sized. I am looking for suggestions on the flower pot project or any other ideas on what to do with it. And if you want to suggest that I "just throw it away" then save us both some time and don't say anything :) Thank you!
