• What tool works best to remove a tight bolt?

I recently had to switch my Kenmore dryer from a 3 prong cord to a 4 prong cord, but I am having trouble removing one of the bolts on the back off. I’ve tried and wrench and it doesn’t work. I’m not sure what size that bolt is, but it’s green and it contains the grounding wire. Any suggestions? It’s not rusted or... show more

They are now running perfectly fine in the next outlet over that's actually a shared circuit with computers. I'm just confused on what happened? My dad said because the fridge and microwave were so low powered they'd be fine in the same outlet and currently are but what happened with the first outlet?

  • What plant is this growing in my yard?
  • My AC does not blow cool air. Inside unit is running. Filter ok. Thermostat ok. Outside unit is also running .. fan blowing in full speed.?

Best answer: It sounds like your compressor has shut down and what is running are the fans. In situations like this, the reason why the compressor has shut down is because of low freon. The could be one other reason. And that you coils in the outside unit are so dirty that the unit is getting too hot. You are at peak... show more

The could be one other reason. And that you coils in the outside unit are so dirty that the unit is getting too hot. You are at peak temperature days right now, where demand is high and heat transfer is at its maximum. Enough to shut the unit down. So wash off the coils with a garden hose and restart the outside unit with the reset button. Call an AC man.

  • Are cages interchangeable?

Long story short, Lowe's has an end of the season sale of sorts for plant cages, specifically tomato cages. Nothing special at all, just 33 inch circular galvanized steel cages for $1.98 a piece. I'm looking to get like 20-25 of them but my question is, do you think these will work just with tomatoes or can I use them for say, eggplants and peppers and possibly tomatillo's too? I'm not looking for anything that's gonna give me 10 pound yields, just something that keeps them off the ground and gets the job done.

  • Hookah left with water in it for ~9/10 months, should it be thrown away?

I’m wondering if I should throw away this hookah or attempt to clean it. It was left with water in the base from October of last year til August of this year because it was hidden at my previous apartment by my roommate. Soooo worth it to keep it or just toss it out?

Take pride in your work, so no short-cuts. Keep a positive attitude. View this job as a 'lesson' and don't consume yourself with the pay. You already started this job for an agreed upon price, so keep your chin up, do a good job, don't thank the customer when it's done, he'll thank you, and 'good luck', I hope you get an "A" on this lesson.

  • I'm roofing a 10x30 porch and I am doing this by myself, How can I get 4x8 plywood on the roof rafters?

The plywood is 3/4 OSB and its a lot for one guy to lift. Could I cut it down the middle and install it that way? 2x8 would be much easier to handle

What's the easiest way to fix this? Would another coat work?? Please help. It looks bad.
