Should I go see a doctor about these burns?

I decided to squeeze it and a bit of pus-y like white stuff came out and then a bit of blood (just like if you popped a pimple) It's now slightly purple where the pimple was but it doesn't feel sensitive anymore. What could have caused this?

Best answer: The fact that you break out when your menstrual cycle is near, means that it's hormonal acne, therefor treatments like the ones you stated will not help. Hormonal acne is often cleared with birth control. The birth control pills that are most successful in clearing a person's skin is Yaz, Zoely, Qlaira etc. These pills might be too strong as it's prescribed for women with menstrual problems. A lighter pill such as Trigestrel is bound to work as lighter dosis of birth control is as effective in clearing skin as stronger acne treatments. You could also go on roaccutane, which is the best and strongest anti-acne pill on the market but this choice requires you to spend a great amount of money and also accept the side effects such as back pain, really dry skin that can cause development of eczema, small chance of liver damage, future disabilities of your unborn child. Going on roaccutane will require you to drink two types of bc anyway because the harm it can cause to a baby is fatal.

Right now the skin is all peeling off but I noticed a patch of skin underneath that doesn't seem to be doing too well. It's much drier, itchier, and has a rough feel to it. Just wondering if this is something I should be worrying about? I'm very fair skinned so burning/ skin cancer is always something I'm worried about. I'm not sure if I'm overreacting at this point. I usually wear sunscreen so this doesn't happen very often.

She told me, "that's a growth and it seems malignant, but I mean, it's hard to tell, I don't have a lab here to do a biopsy, and your hair is thinning out". She didn't push for me to go to the dermatologist. She didn't make it seem as if it was a major deal. So I wasn't quick to set up a biopsy or worry. My hair is still thinning out and a tiny, tiny bit falls out here and there (not in wads or anything, just a strand or two). The bump is still there. I just don't know whether another symptom would have shown if the bump was something really wrong...wouldn't the ER doctor immediately set me up with a dermatologist if she thought it was important?

  • I’m 14 and I think I have psoriasis. How do I get rid of it?

Best answer: Psoriasis: You're stuck with it! By far the best way of keeping it down though is to nightly put two drops of Camomile-Roman essential oil onto a folded tissue on your bedside table. As you breathe in the scent through the night, it will calm you sufficiently to prevent any psoriasis flare-up.

  • Should I take a shower if my cousin’s sweat got on me?

Best answer: It might be skin drying if you took 3 showers daily, but once won't hurt you. No one really likes the idea of wearing someone elses sweat- even if you like the person.

By the title, anyone uncomfortable about reading this you should just click off now. I have had a whitehead on my penis sense I was 6, and I remember the exact day I spotted it because I told my parents and they tried to remove it. They thought they got it all, but for 9 years I've still had it on me, and it hasn't gone away. I take a shower everyday, and I make sure my full body is clean, so it's not that it's dirty. And it's in the exact same spot, so I know it's the same one. I have no idea what to do about it besides contact my doctor, but I won't see her for a while, and she's the only one that's legally allowed to inspect it. (That means any pedos on here won't get examples). Anyone with tips on what to do please feel free, as I've tried to remove it countless amount of times and it still hasn't gone away.
