So I walk to school every day and lately there's been this kid who walks, except she goes to a different school. She started making fun of me, pushing me, etc. for the past few weeks and today I wasn't in the mood to deal with her so I pushed her back and we got in a fight. It went on for a bit until one of the neighbors saw it and broke it up and I kept walking but when I got to school I was to upset to fix myself up a little and I came to school with a bloody nose, a black eye, and a busted lip. My teacher Mrs. Lucky (not her real name) took me outside of the classroom and I went into the bathroom and cried like a baby until she hugged me and then I cried even harder. Do you think she'll think I'm weak? I don't want her to think that I can't handle myself but it's just been really hard lately. I mean she's my favorite teacher and I liked that she hugged me I just don't want her to think I'm a poor little girl who can't take care of herself. And also she asked if my mom had anything to do with this and I told her no and that I got in a fight with someone before school but I'm not sure if she was convinced. I told my mom after school and she believed me but I'm not sure my teacher does. She knows my mom can be rough sometimes and I'm afraid she'll send child services to my house. I love my mom and she has never abused me before. Do you think she will? If there are any teachers here, has this ever happened? And how did you feel if that did, like would you be sad or cry?

We got our maths+science teacher a few weeks ago and honestly, all I can say is she sucks. She never teaches, and when she does teach, it’s on the easiest topics ever. When it gets too hard for her, she gets the students to teach. After a few minutes of teacher(5 mins max), she gets us to go on our textbooks and do like four pages of question. I’m not talking like one or two questions on each page, I’m talking 70 ******* questions(I counted once). If we don’t finish then it’s for homework. She doesn’t take into consideration that we have like 7 assignments due in a week’s time. Nope, we just gotta do get homework. She never gives us feedback on assignment, like teachers are supposed to, just stuff like “good job*insert students name*. everyone gets the same feedback just worded differently. she never gives time in class to finish assignments and is hella mean. like if she was nice i would forgive her a lil, but no, she’s mean. she gets batshit mad when someone sneezes in our class(we can’t even control our sneezes). i cant drop out bc this is extension. idk why she even teaches extension, she’s dumb af

There was a picture of her in a red dress and black boots, a selfie in her apartment. She is 27. Is this setting a bad example for students? I don't know what the odds are that I stumbled across this but I did!!!! also, could it have been someone else besides her?

I’m 14 and I’m in algebra 1. I understand it and it’s very easy and I’m good at it too. In class my teacher will usually teach us something new and we will do a worksheet together. The next day we will do practice problems of what we did the day before and the teacher will walk around and help the people who need help. I sit with my one friend and she’s good at it too. We usually get done the worksheet like 20 minutes before class ends and usually the first ones done. The teacher asks us to go around and help other students and I like helping other students it’s just I can never put it into words to make sense for them. Like I know how to do it and I do most of it in my head but explaining it to people it so difficult to me. I feel so bad when I’m trying to explain it to someone but when I’m talking I don’t even understand what I’m trying to say. How can I help this? Idk if I can but if there’s a way I would want to because I like knowing that i actually helped someone understand it better

Don't be the tree hugger type that thinks everything is all going to be sunshine and Roses if you bring it up to them or anyone else.
Make sure they are fine and that you are there to talk or support them.
Just be aware, you pulling them up or talking about it can also set them off.

Me personally (if I was a teacher) as a SH'er, I would just make sure they are ok and they have a free space to talk without judgment or for them not to worry of other people knowing.
If they don't appreciate your concern don't take offence to their 'over' reaction, don't deal with an outburst with logic, they are running on emotion, logic/rational thinking is out the window at this point let them calm first.
At the end of the day, it is very personal and they are emotionally unstable and vulnerable.

Best answer: Whether you should say anything or not depends on how you feel about the possible consequences. The "interrupter" is obviously not going to be very receptive to your "correction," and you will most likely make an enemy of the guy. If that fact doesn't bother you, and if your level of irritation is so great that you cannot let the interruptions pass, then you know what to do. If, on the other hand, you feel that you have enough enemies in your life, a smart move would be to discuss your feelings with the lecturer personally, in private. The lecturer may be hesitant to "shut the interrupter down" because there is no evidence that the interruptions are bothering anyone, and the lecturer doesn't want to come off as rude or arrogant. Backed by proof that the interruptions are a distraction, the lecturer may feel more inclined, politely but firmly, to discourage the problematic behavior.
