Best answer: The dangers are over-charging or physical damage.

With a single cell, overcharging is only caused by a bad charger as all lithium battery chargers must be "intelligent" and stop when the cell is at full charge - every one would burst/explode otherwise.

As long as it's not getting warm on charge (or more so than any other good cell) it should be fine.

There is always a slim possibility of a cell failing due to faults in manufacture, but that is a random event and you can't know in advance it will happen. Just don't charge it over anything flammable and if it get unduly hot, put it outside...

Battery packs with multiple cells are a very different thing; they need a rather complex charge system that monitors each cell individually, to be safe - and a lot of cheap gadget makers just do not bother with that, so one slightly "weak" cell ends up being overcharged and bursting...

*On a side note - you really want to be looking at how much it costs to use incandescent bulbs - the return on replacing them with LED bulbs is less than 6 months in most cases. I'm in a new build house, every bulb in the house - including the cooker hood is LED!

*I am assuming that your bluray writer will write to both layers - not all will. While they all read dual layers some are not set up to read the same.

A lot of the ones I've been seeing on Amazon have great reviews, but I feel that most of them are promoted/fake. Any recommendations on which brands or types to look out for? We're college students, so maybe something not too bulky. Also doesn't need to be a magnificent power bank that charges 5 laptops and 20 phones, just something that will keep her phone alive for a couple extra hours. My price range would be anything under $30. All responses appreciated, thanks!

  • How to ship an iPhone X to the UK?

The iPhone X costs $999 dollars. I assumed that due to the conversion rate they would cost me (in England) £751. However, it costs me £999, meaning I have to pay an extra £250 for no reason what so ever. Is there a way I can have one bought in America then sent to me, or any other way to avoid this extra spending.
