People may be able to deal with it but I cant! they have me on grill with no protection and I get small burns sometimes and that may not seem like a big deal. like steve foreal just stop being a pu$$y and take it like a man, be a man and just do it for the f*cking money but NO I CANNOT DO THIS. Im not going to put my body on the line for a mcdonalds! my back hurts, my feet hurt, I go home and barely get to do anything anymore and when I am home I just soak in a hot tub and shower then sleep! then the next day I wake, i TRY TO WAKE UP. I try to wake up early but now that ive been working in that dam environment i feel so pessimistic all the time now and i don't to wake up to go to a place i don't want to, even if its for money anymore! I CANT! Its driving me crazy, I have a little brother i have to take care of and my mom is ill and i need to be a man and take care of them but i.. tsk nvm.. whos gonna help me anyways.. i always feel alone.. f*ck this, f*ck that.. i just want to go away I was thinking about applying for Alorica (call center) and just working there. its a call center that helps people over the phone. stupid answers yahoo wont let me type more than this.. smh

  • Should I quit a hostile job without notice?

Best answer: No. I would still give notice. They may be in the wrong but that doesn't mean you should lower YOUR standards!

  • Should I still give an employee a bonus?

I will be giving out bonuses soon, and i have an employee who will be quitting to start a new job next month. The employee is very dependable and hard working. Just wondering if its practical to still give them a bonus if they are quitting soon. They worked the whole year.

I worked for an employer a couple years ago, I had to move to a new town to get the job. It is a small company with less than 20 employees. I was good at my job, except for the fact that it put a strain on my family back home by being gone all the time. I had a verbal altercation with an employee in one of our field offices. My supervisor sat down with me and suggested I resign because the job was putting too much stress on my family, and I agreed. She said my separation would be marked as a layoff, as she didn't want to damage my record, and I thanked her. I'm now expecting a prospective employer to do a background check on me, and there is new management at my old employer. I called them to ask about my employment record because I want to be sure a background check will come back favorably. The manager said all they can verify are dates of employment. Isn't that a little odd? I thought that even the most confidential employers would at least report reason for separation and re-hire eligibility, but the current manager said they can't even reveal that. That job did involve federal oversight in certain areas... but I'm wondering if that verbal altercation has come back to haunt me, or the HR manager is telling me the truth.

Yesterday the rudeness was so blatant in my face that i told the manager what was going on and she sent me home because of how upset i was and said shed get to the bottom of it. I havent heard anything from her yet and im scheduled to go back in today. Im a very hard worker and Ive never had a problem like this anywhere ive worked. Honestly i dont see it getting better. Is this job worth going back to?

  • What are the most entry-leveled military positions for anyone who's never done anything military related at all?

I would get paid big time joining the military, but probably won't start until months or a year from now.

I am 33 years old, and since i was 18 I have worked in small computer repair shops fixing desktop computers. Replacing hard drives and power supplies, motherboards, RAM upgrades, et cetera. Windows re-installs are what we do most often. However for the average person, the type of person who would ask for computer help, the desktop computer is disappearing. The only people who seem to use traditional desktop computers are the people who wouldn t NEED help replacing a hard drive or reinstalling an OS. Business has been extremely slow, and my boss is pushing 60 and I see my job ending shortly. I have no formal education, I taught myself everything I know. I have looked at computer jobs online, and all I see is positions being an IT admin, and they want people with experience in Microsoft Office 365 and Azure, and Active Directory. I m not a software / admin guy. I am a hardware guy. Come to me to replace your video card, or mother board. Come to me to get your IRQ for your Sound Card configured or the proper baud rate set for your modem. Don t come to me for all that newfangled software crap. I see my career ending and I am only 33. Is my life over now? I have Asperger s and taking a retail job would be futile, I d get fired in a week. I don t want to go to school to learn a new skill because I am extremely lazy and just like coasting like Ive been doing since age 18. What should I do?

  • Today I fired a worker after multiple times warning him not to sag his pants while on my business establishment. Your thoughts?

Best answer: Yea,I would have fired him too, but a warning I give once, I hate redundancy.
I am OK with casual, but insist on neat and groomed. Problems with clothing that fits, I fix.'once'.

so im typing this because idk what to do, before i get to deep into this i just want to state that im not like happy for what i did, anyways, i worked in retail a long time and switched through three different retail stores, i eventually began to hate working in retail and wanted something more hands on and active. i ended up landing a entry level job in a construction company but the problem is, i put my two weeks in at my old retail job but i hated working there so much because i just felt miserable and couldnt really even do the work without looking or sounding upset, im not a people person so interacting with customers was hard and mentally was to much for me, so on my last week of work i was suppose to work monday tuesday and friday, i ended up just not showing up the last week and i was worried that could my current employer (current because they said i got the job) contact my old retail employer, and my old retail employer say things like i didnt show up at all for my last week or stuff like that, that could potentially ruin my chance at this new job opportunity? as i said above, im not like happy or proud that i skipped work, in fact i felt bad all week, but i know for a fact that i would have felt 10x worse had i actually gone to work, i understand what i did was wrong but at the same time i just couldnt handle it anymore, it was mentally taking a toll on me, please if anyone could verify it would be great to at least have some closure

  • If I put in a two weeks notice, can my employer make me work longer?

I put in a two weeks notice and my employer scheduled me for three weeks... can they do that? I quit for a reason and I feel that they can’t schedule me longer than the two weeks. I put it in writing on the 6th and scheduled me until the 27th.

  • What’s an occupation that’s a lot more difficult than people think it is?

Best answer: Working in a mental health clinic in any capacity. Though a rare event, after a client commits suicide their file is seized and examined very carefully for mistakes. Your career may be on the line while you grieve the death of someone you may have gotten to know quite well. "Cold sweat" incarnate.

I am against going to doctors, and getting any kind of immunization, I have been like this for 20 years. I do not agree with immunizations. The nail thing isn’t too big of a thing but kinda controlling to me. It was a healthcare job but I already have a part time healthcare job in which I don’t have to get immunizations or anything and no one has gotten sick from me. What do you think? They wouldn’t even accept my belief that immunizations are wrong for me.
