  • In the uk i keep seeing people flash their car lights to one another, what does it mean?

It can literally mean so many things now. But, like I said at the beginning, it is really only to signify another road user is there!

  • How many fails can I get on my Alcolock until the extend my time.?

Best answer: Yes, you're probably going to have it for longer. How much longer depends on the program you're under, so read your compliance manual.

I tried them. My friends tried them. They are not all they are touted to be. I have been a camping/off road enthusiast for my entire adult life. I have driven under every condition you can imagine. I installed after-market (eBay) 6000K HID headlamps on my old Jeep Wrangler. They where great for spotting the eyes of deer in the road at night. I could see the edges of the trails, and obstacles very well. On the highway, the signs, and the markers lit up well. The blue light looked dramatic because my Jeep was black with custom chrome. Overall they sound great right? Well, yes they are under ideal conditions. So what is the catch? 1. My Jeep had 31" tyres, and a 1.5" lift. My headlights were near chest height, and my fog lights are waist height. Needless to say, the other drivers hated me. My headlamps "sunburned" their faces. I guess it was fun to pull up behind "boom cars" and blind the driver. HAHAHAHAHA 2. In the fog, those lights are the worst. The fog scatted all the blue light back into my face. It was as though I had a luminous cloud in front of me. 3. In the rain they sucked bad. The stock halogen lights are better in rain. 4. In the snow, well, you can guess how that worked out. I almost needed sunglasses even with the low beams on. 5. The after-market HID housings just do not hold up to off road very well. They kept cracking, and I had to replace them every two years. Finally I found a set with rubber "Shock" rings that protected them.

Just today I was driving to work and this car behind me was tailgating me. Thing is I couldn’t go fast because I was stuck behind a truck. When we reach a light, I get stuck behind the res light. The car behind me, who was tailgating me, gets impatient and swerves around me running the red Light. I mean, I get that people don’t like to drive slow and have places to be, but don’t people realize that driving fast, and I mean fast fast, is so dangerous. Idk, any thoughts or experiences about this? I’m curious to see how other people feel.

First off, I already have 2 motorcycles and I'm only going to take-out my car on rainy and/or cold days or a trip to the supermarket, picnic point etc + my soon to be wife's occasional errands. My estimation would be about 3-4,000 km/ year. And considering the 'bombproof' nature of EVs, I think I'll save a TON of cash over a 'traditional' petrol car (gas car, for you Yankee Blokes). Might even save the environment even though I'm no liberal! Car's MSRP is £22,790.00 according to Nissan's official website for the new 2018 model. Phoned a few places and my heart is set on a 3 year lease at £265 / month which also includes road tax and VAT etc with £2,625 initial down payment. And since EVs don't need much maintenance (apart from recharging) like oil change, fuel filter, air filter and all that nonsense and has much less 'moving parts'; I think its a 'steal', but I've been wrong before! So, good idea or bad idea?

This semester, my car has had a f***ed up engine since march, and it literally died on me on the freeway last week. I believe I'll be getting a refund + paycheck of around $5000 starting to $8000. I really want a car that is reliable for the next 10 years. My primary question is: 1.) does the 2012 camry have a push to start button? 2.) how much would it be for a full leather package? 3.) I'm no car genius, how much would it cost to get a 2012 camry with a push to start button with around 50-80k miles?

The towing companies know the car is not illegally parked, they just jump at the chance to make money.
All the other details as for previous situations, or why the sticker was not visible really don't matter, there is no independent arbitrator, the office decides and that that is it. My guess is they just don't want to pay the money.
The only thing you can do is complain to the regional office (if there is one) , or a general manager.

    get one of these.

  • Who can be in the car with a permit driver?

I currently have a learner's permit and know that a qualified adult must be beside me whenever I drive. However, I have not seen any restrictions on who can be in the back seat. Am I allowed to drive with other people in the back as long as my parent is sitting in the front as well? (I live in Indiana, btw.)
