• What is the most overused word in English?

Best answer: The word "okay." I don't know why this word is so overused because it's basically not a word. It's just "O" and "K" put together, which makes OK. My friend and I were talking on the phone, and I secretly was counting how many times we both said OK. I did this when I was 8, and now I'm 13, so I don't remember how many times it took, but I know it was said a lot of times. (We talked for about half an hour.) When it was time to hang up, I told her that I had been counting how many times we said it and I told her the number. We were both mindblown at how many times we said the word. We said that next time we saw each other, we wouldn't say the word at all. It was kind of sad that we didn't think of another word to say besides "okay" to acknowledge what we had to say. When we saw each other at school the other day, we forgot to not say the word and we said OK as much as we normally do. When school was over, we realized this and smacked our heads against the wall. We told each other we would remember tomorrow and we didn't. We never remembered. It's terrifying how a two-letter word has taken over our lives.

  • Should I report my professor for making anti-Trump remarks?

My professor declared to the class that Trump doesn't want to serve the American citizens and isn't doing what's in our best interest. Many of my professors do it once and a while, and it's getting on my nerves!

So many people think that once when one has a bachelors degree, then a good paying job is guaranteed. So many think that one is going to find a job making $60,000 to $70,000 right after college because of a college degree. What is it going to take for the general public to see that the above is a big lie. The only thing that college is necessary for is for people who are studying a subject that actually has a set career, such as becoming a lawyer, a doctor, an engineer, etc. Anything else besides these subjects is not going to get you a good paying job. For anything else, one is better going off to a trade school. There are people who went off to trade school and only spent maybe $6,000 most (including books!) to become an HVAC Tech who end up making more than $100,000 a year. Then you have college grads with a BA or BS degree in whatever and are $90,000 in debt with school loans who are working low paying jobs or can't even find a job. When is the general public going to wake up to the big college lie?

Best answer: Gender originally referred to noun classes in languages. Indo-European languages often have three genders. Semitic languages have two. Swahili has 18, and other languages have various numbers of genders including 0 genders.

Then gender was used to refer to roles in society. These roles are cultural constructs. Some Native American cultures have as many as five genders, Asian Indians have at least three. Since various cultures have different definitions of roles, it is really the case that there are more than twice as many genders as there are different cultures. For example in some cultures, trowing pots is associated with the female gender. In others only those of the male gender may throw pots. So that is four genders: male doesn't throw pots, male throws pots, female may not throw pots, female throws pots. And of course there will be many cultures in which throwing pots is not particularly associated with any gender.

Finally, gender became a polite word for sex. Humans are a species with the XY chromosome system. While most individuals are either XX or XY, there are a number of other combinations that can and do occur such as X0, XXY, Some combinations are not viable, but others are found in living persons. Aside from chromosomal sex, there are also developmental difference which affect the appearance and/or functionality of the sex organs.

That is FORCED LABOR and SLAVERY Besides no one has to be a slave to the capitalest system any more because the goverment can give every one a mimimum wage. All they have to do is create the money an give every poor person enough money to live on, an no one will be poor. Is this just a way for Trump to bring back SLAVERY?
