Also which month would be the best month to visit? Thank you in advance

  • Why does Wikipedia say New Zealand's oldest building is a mission house not even 200 years old?

Best answer: Your trolling aren't you? Yes that was where they filmed the helms deep scenes in the steps but the coast is full of forests that are traditionally inhabited by people similar to the Polynesians called the Maori who were conquered by the U.K. As New Zealand was settled

Best answer: No. You must just have some stupid friends. Obviously, no-one thinks Canada is America because Canada is in the British Commonwealth. The only time you might get any confusion about New Zeeland and Australia is with those who aren't familiar enough with the accents to discern the difference, so they might mistake an Australian accent as being from New Zeeland or vice versa, but that's not because they think New Zeeland is part of Australia but just because they aren't clear on what accent they're hearing.

You guys have many of the same things we do here in the Pacific Northwest when it comes to natural beauty and a sort of laid back culture, and so it seems like somewhere I would really enjoy living. I know America often seems like a giant idiotic steaming shitshow abroad, but that is a major reason why I would want to leave. Despite the fact that I agree America has its share of aspects that are completely distasteful (especially with the current political situation jesus christ), would I still expect to have people automatically assume I am every American stereotype in the book? Would people immediately hate me when they first met me if I moved there by my accent alone? Or do you guys generally not have prejudice for Americans until they start to fulfill said stereotypes?

  • How can you legally drive in NZ as an Australian?

Best answer: There are some car-hire companies that will rent to under 25s and even to Green P holders but the insurance charges are excessive, you almost have to buy the car. There are plenty of buses going to all the popular spots in NZ and you don't have to follow a set itinerary or go on a guided tour.
