I am 20 years old, and today I have no job and I'm not in college. I do not want any friends (though I do have quite a few "imaginary" friends), I'm currently living off SSI and all I do is listen to music, look at pictures of my favorite cartoon characters on my computer, randomly go around town using public transit, and ruminate about my dreams of traveling. People want me to change this, but I refuse to. I've tried volunteering at several places, but would never last very long there (I'd either get into a fight/argument with the staff, or get bored of it after a week or two). I mean, I volunteered at places I like, but it would never work out. If I got a paying job, the same thing would probably happen. I hate giving up my free time to regularly do things I don't even want to do! I'm not lazy, I just want to do and get whatever I want! It seems like everyone looks forward to getting a job or set life routine after high school, as for me, I just want to do whatever I want! The only reason I've tried to have a career is because some people are pushing me to, and it makes me very angry. People often suggest getting a job that focuses on my interests, but I've technically already tried doing that (by volunteering) and would always fail. Just because I love the subject doesn't mean I would enjoy working for it (in fact, I hate it). I don't want any set career, I just want to do whatever I want! Is this ok, or do I really need to change my life?

I decided to quit my current job because I didn't like the company's new managment politics, instead of fussing over the things that I didn't like I decided to leave. After all was done and settled, I've been offered a job soon after I left by the company's most important customer, since I didn't have any better offer and my contract wasn't against it, I agreed without asking advices from anyone. As soon as, my previous boss learnt about it, he and all my previous coworkers got mad and labelled me as a traitor. For me they are overreacting, seriously did I do something wrong?

Wear a nice pair of trousers or kakhis and a collard shirt or polo with no logos. If you are female, you could also wear a sweater, or blouse. Semi dressy shoes (NO sneakers).

They will ask about your skills and previous experience. If it was from babysitting, delivering newspapers, or even volunteering, tell them a little about your responsibilities when you were doing it. They will want to know why you want to work for the company and why they should hire you.

Do a Google search for interview questions, and spend all weekend videotape yourself answering them. Even get dressed in summer possible interview outfits.

    Hope this helps. Good luck

Jesus's entire message was all about how one day there would be this country called America and its job would be to fight with everyone else, own Guns, and be correct no matter what they do. Jesus said that God would punish anyone who didn't ignore what the military did as long as it kept fighting forever and ever. Don't you remember when Jesus said those things? The conservatives do...why don't you?

Another family needs a sitter and my girlfriend can start this Monday, but she feels she owes it to the other family to at least give them two weeks. I think she owes them nothing at this point. What would you do if you were her?

I was sick with bronchitis for a few days (during my first year of working in a new job) and I didn't get fired. If you're sick they shouldn't force you to work. You might want to get a doctor's note asap, you can give it to them if they ask for it.
Try not to call in sick too often, doing that can get you fired.

  • What harm can come from me teasing all these middle aged men working in my office?

I am only average looking, but I am young and know how to dress. It's funny that all these middle aged men are staring at me. My best trick is to eat a banana during lunch. Haha. Will any harm come from what I am doing?

Hello, I recently graduated from high school and want to earn some money before going to college (I absolutely do not have money to go to any kind of college right now). I recently found a data entry job at a car service company and I absolutely hate it. I’m doing the same thing over and over again for 6-7 hours straight and by the time I’m done my eyes are dying and so is my back. I want to leave this job and get a job as a server, cashier, literally anythung that does not involve doing the same thing over and iver again on a computer. Data entry also seems like a dead end job, you never have to use your intellect so you will never really advance anywhere. Do you think it is a good idea to quit? If yes, what are some good places to work for a high school graduate?

I vote for $1,000 a month, we could easily afford this (eliminate unemployment and disability) by doing what should be done anyone, stop giving the greedy legal scamming (some are) corporations these huge tax cuts and raise their taxes, you're a f***ing fool if you worship them and want them to get big taxt cuts if you aren't even financially well of like they are. People shouldn't be giving comfortable living amounts of money just for being born, just enough to get by when they can't find work, and help in addition to working income. Better than that, the UBI goes to every single citizen in the country (it's federal level), and everyone gets the same amount, no matter their employment or income status. 49-51 percent of Americans now support UBI, which is A LOT considering what they're supporting is free money as a human right. If you are against UBI, my question is not directed at you, my question is for the SUPPORTERS, I want to know HOW MUCH money they think UBI should be. I vote for $1,000 USD ($12,000 a year) a month. Enough to survive and get by, not enough to live too comfortable without working. UBI has been shown to actually ENCOURAGE people to work hard and gives them drive to pursue what they want, and eliminates the ridiculous fear of not eating or ending up homeless just because you can't get a job, or can't get enough hours or pay.

I got my first ever job this year in May as a sales assistant. It started off great, I loved waking up in the morning knowing that I am finally earning money. I wasn't the best sales assistant but I got the hang of what I needed to do and what to ask customers and all of that rubbish. However, things started to go south a few weeks ago when the company hired a new girl. I was getting comments from other staff members saying she's better than me and that I am basically a waste of space to the company and should just find somewhere else. Obviously that comment has scarred me and left me feeling uncomfortable attending work. But to be honest, I believe my manager has been my main problem. Reason for this is because it seems like whatever I do is never enough. She is finding to constantly moan about like why aren't you saying it like this and why are you doing that. She regularly compares me to the other girl saying 'I don't want to keep comparing you two but she does this, and she does that' and it kinda just puts you in that mind set where its like what the f*cking point coming here if my job isn't valued. Yesterday my manager lashed out at me and calling me a *****. I suffer with depression and really bad anxiety on a daily basis so when I am being treated like this nearly every day, it makes me uncomfortable to work in that environment. Its just making me really depressed like whenever I've got a day off I spend the majority of the day depressed and worried about work
