    it really bothers me too.
thats why i carry a bag with me when i hike when i see a nasty cig butt or some receipt or some nasty tp left over becuase they don't want to pu t it in their pocket or dig a freaking hole. i keep it all in a plastic bag and dump every hiking trip. I know for myself i don't like it when others do that. and i'm sure something has fell out of a pocket or something that i over looked. so this is my way of fixing it. Can't change others but little daily actions can help change the way we view things.

so join me pick up a bag and help others see the nature how it should be seen with no trace!
thats what you call redirecting negitive energy into something positive!

Not only do I sleep on a $20 Colemen air mattress, I tell everyone I know that if you haven't had the experienced of sleeping on air mattress set at the right pressure, you'll never know what a good night sleep truly is. Three friends mentioned ongoing back aches so I UPSed them queen camping air mattresses from Walmart, which includes the pump all for $30 and my own instructions how to make the best of it. But only two of the friends tried it and to this very day they are still airing it out. In fact, one of them sold their $850 ridiculously overpriced rip off of a latex bed , purchased at Sit&Sleep of all places, that was simply too firm for her and her wife’s lower body mass index. So my question stands, have you ever slept on an air bed and what was your experience?

Not much here, but I am going to clear some of that smoke in my head and take to the New Mexico mountains for three days. I want to run by some of my supplies. It’s been a few years since I last trekked into the wilderness like this, so if I’m missing something or if you could recommend something, I would be very gracious. So I have about three days supply of dry food, mostly freeze dried Mac n cheese and chicken. I have my sleeping bag and a single person tent, a pair of day clothes, a thermal shirt and pants for sleeping, an extra pair of pants, a fleece coat, a fleece hat, my ax, my knife, a waterproof case for electronics and my fire starters, a poncho, a space blanket(never really needed it, but it’s compact), a few pieces of kindling. This seems like all I need for a couple of days. Oh and I also have my revolver in case of an emergency. Other than that, if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them!
