  Could PlayStation 5's power disadvantage hurt SONY?...?

  We now know that the PlayStation 5 is significantly - and by a considerable margin - less powerful than the Series X. Could this pose as a somewhat critical problem for SONY in the coming generation? Will games be designed around the Series X, and then be ported to the PS5 the way they were from Xbox 360 to PS3? Is there theoretically a game that the Series X could have that wouldn't be possible on PS5?

  The main focus of next gen consoles are 2 things:

  1. Raytracing mode (which is still an expensive techs on PC)

  2. Ultra-fast SSD's, which will affect game designs.

  Many people said that graphics has reached "uncanny valley" this gen, and next gen will only be added more "bells and whistles".

  And if you look at the PS5 presentation video, Rachet & Clanx game is the one who demonstrate what PS5 could do, where it shows the game jumps to other worlds in an instant, with little-to-no loadings.

  That's what the next gen consoles are about, while the graphics is more about the Raytracing lightning tech.

  Is it worth buying a ps3 in 2020?

  I say it’s definitely still worth buying a PS3 nowadays. 

  Unfortunately the the fat ones are more prone to failure like the other guy had mentioned, but if you know how to fix the issues, then yes go with the original 60/80GB models due to them having the ability to play the PS2 discs.

  But in general, considering that you got 3 generations of possible games to play in a single console and as well as still being able to run apps like YouTube, Netflix, Cracker, crunchyroll, tubi tv and Spotify, and being able to run media files from a portable drive in a FAT32 format (USB thumb drive is already in this format), buying a functional one is never a bad idea at the moment.

  Just that the problem is no guarantee the apps mentioned above will continue to work beyond this decade as app support and functionality tend to eventually become unavailable as time goes on.

  How can I plug my PS2 into my PC?

  You will need a capture device, like an internal capture card or HDD recorder. A dedicated device like Hauppauge HD PVR 2 is very good for this type of applications.

  If you want direct connection, then make sure you have at least a Windows 7 or higher, and use Ethernet connection with the PS2, but that would just give you a network crossover.

  I'm not certain if you can record though. It would have to resemble to you recording a TV channel on a USB or something like that.

  Question about Playstation memory?

  So I got a PS4 with 1 tb of memory (or 1000 gb) but it only shows that around 821 gb or so of memory is available? is this normal? what happened to the other 179 gb of memory?

  My PS4 will not read my game after a certain point!?

  Okay, I just bought a PS4 brand new for Black Friday and, I've had it less than a week and it reads all my discs for the exception of my Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition. It had a hard time reading it and I've already got the game to a certain point but whenever I try to enter the Guold city,  it stops reading it. Like I've had that game for a while before I sold my last PS4 and it played it just fine. Do you think the disc has gotten scratched up or anyting? I see a very small slight scratch, but my PS3 and even PS2 at the times I had them played games like that before with no no problem. I did everything to the CD using a damp towel with water and alcohol and it didn't work. I'm hoping someone here can help me so I don't have to spend money on another disk.

  PlayStation store refund problems?

  Give them until the middle of next week for the refund; 3-4 business days was only an estimate, plus Saturday/Sunday usually aren't considered business days.  If you haven't gotten the refund by next Thursday, I'd follow up with them.

  The PS4 wasn't region locked for games, so I doubt the PS5 will either. Blu-Ray and DVD movies will still have region locks.

  My Dad insists on installing parental controls on my PlayStation even though I'm 14. Is this normal?

  I've got 1 hour per night on a weekday

  And 2 hours at the weekend

  I am signed out automatically when this time expires? I feel like I am being left behind by friends because of the limited time I have. What do I do? I try and go out but most of my friends don't want to as they are playing on their consoles and I am prevented from using mine as a social tool.
