Best answer: Fantasy is always acceptable in poetry. But your scansion is really bad. Try to toughen it up.

Also, don't expect anyone else to believe you.

So I have been building a village of mice in my house. I gave them basic supplies to start them off but really I'd like for them to be self sustaining. Anyway a small group started developing on the outskirts of the village and they are growing very quickly. They have radical ideas and aren't afraid to get violent. I've seen them surround other mice and nibble them to death. Recently there have been talks of an overthrow. Should I do something about this new group forming or should I just let it play out and let the strongest group survive?

She has this huge lump on the top of her right side above her shoulder and my mom thinks it’s an abscess and she should try to drain it. But we can’t take her to the vet. I tried to wash all of the stuff off of her and I laid her in a blanket to get warm with some food and her water but she won’t drink or eat and she can barley move rather than shaking her legs and arms.

  • My guinea pig recently started making this low hooting noise just like an owl, and i m not sure why he is, any ideas?

Best answer: If this lasts any length of time, it could be a respiratory infection and you piggie might need a visit to the vet.
They sometimes make this sound when they are not sick, however.

What is the most nutritious food to feed a runt mouse?

Best answer: You might give it a little extra protein - nuts, meat, egg, something like that. Just for the next few weeks. It may or may not make a difference, but it won't hurt.

I was handfeeding my (adult) guinea pig a blueberry during lap time and when he had gotten down to the last bit of the blueberry, I forgot to move my finger (because I was making sure that my other guinea pig (a baby) wasn’t getting himself into trouble during floor time) and my guinea pig bit my finger while trying to eat the last bit of blueberry. It took about 30 seconds for blood to actually come out, and I didn’t realize it right away because he always nibbles on me (except that this one was a hard bite). I cleaned it with alcohol and I have a bandaid on it now, but it still hurts and when I first got bitten, it even burned a little bit. It wasn’t a whole lot of blood drawn (about the size of a grain of rice) so I don’t know if I’m just being paranoid and should take extra precaution or if I’m fine.

Also, ferrets are predators. Rats are prey animals, and one reason they will eat a dead cage mate is the prey animal's instinct to get rid of any food that might nourish a predator. That's why they will eat their dead babies, or [in the wild especially] even the live ones if they think a predator might get at them. They have the instinct not to feed the predators.
    Anyway ferrets are predators themselves.
I'm sure you will be looking at them often enough that you will notice a dead ferret long before its cage mates would ever consider eating one that died.

Whenever my piggies want my attention, they chew on the bars of their cage. I think this is a common behavior in guinea pigs but they do it so much. What could I possibly do to help them stop chewing so much?
