Nope. It is an open web site that anyone in the world can edit. So if somehow they managed to get everything on it that is truthful, 10 seconds later someone could alter it with a lie. You always have to take the things on wikipedia with a grain of salt.

Now, because it is an open site that anyone can edit, if someone post nonsense, it is usually corrected rather quickly. But it is also impossible to keep the correct information there.
Plus not all the information on the articles are "facts". Many of them are by their nature opinions or guess, Such as an article on religion is going to be a guess. Any article on science is usually only going to present one (or the most popular) theories on a subject. There is legitimate debate about historical events, etc. So in many cases "the truth" is impossible to know.
Wikipedia is not considered to be a reliable source for information. Since anyone can edit it, there is no control over the content.
