• Why does my family think they have any right to call me an elitist snob?

My wife and I are in our mid 20s. We met in college and discovered we had similar childhood experiences. Both raised in pretty bad environments with parents and family who were poor, unprofessional, and irresponsible, put drugs or alcohol before their children, and blamed all their problems on everyone else. My wife and I worked our way through college, graduated, we both have good jobs, and we got married. I've tried to limit contact with my family. I don't plan on ever helping my parents, not even when they're old and need it. They didn't help me, so why should I really. Now my wife and I are about to have a daughter, and when my family found out I told them that they weren't going to be allowed to be in her life, because I don't respect them or their behavior. Then a few days ago I got a call from one of my relatives who said I look down my nose at all of them because I have money and they don't, and that I'm just an elitist snob who wants to forget where I came from. The thing is, I haven't forgotten, and that's exactly why I don't want to speak with them. They refuse to take responsibility for the fact that they're losers and improve their lives, so why should I be viewed as a snob for actually being productive, professional, and responsible?

  • What did you think about "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey giving an eulogy for Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart on RAW: Respectful or Disrespectful?

Best answer: Her words were actually very nice and sincere. Ronda’s father committed suicide when she was 8. You could tell she really meant what she said. With that being said, I don’t think that’s how they should have went about it. Like you said, it should’ve been someone that was close to Jim and The Hart Family. Or they... show more

With that being said, I don’t think that’s how they should have went about it. Like you said, it should’ve been someone that was close to Jim and The Hart Family. Or they could’ve just opened the show up with an “In Memory” graphic and the tribute. If they went that route, they could’ve still had Ronda say “Thoughts and prayers go out to Natalya and The Hart Family. You will be missed Jim Neidhart” or something like that.

  • I’m scared to have sex with a stranger. Should I do it or not?

Best answer: You remind me of me when I was around your age. In my case, the times I was scared, I permitted myself to chicken out and not have sex. Eventually I did have sex, and eventually I did get married, and eventually I became a mother, too. You are still young, and any or all of these things could still be in your... show more

Eventually I did have sex, and eventually I did get married, and eventually I became a mother, too. You are still young, and any or all of these things could still be in your future if you want them.

I can't tell you how tonight will go, or decide this for you. I can only tell you that this is certainly not your last opportunity to have sex.

  • Can I trick a guy into getting me pregnant by giving him oral and then using a turkey baster in the bathroom?

Best answer: Yes, it's technically possible. And legally, even if it was proven that you only had oral and not vaginal sex, he is still the father and he still has to pay child support. Best answer: Yes, it's technically possible. And legally, even if it was proven that you only had oral and not vaginal sex, he is still the father and he still has to pay child support.

This did in fact happen in Illinois when a female doctor gave a male doctor oral sex (Phillips v Irons). The appellate court ruled that the sperm was irrevocably given to Dr Sharon Irons, and she could do with it what she wanted.

The odds of this succeeding would be much lower if his penis is right at the back of your throat as he ejaculates, thus forcing you to swallow. or to choke on his semen. That's why some guys like to force your head forward as they come.

It would also work if another person was doing the oral sex, then passed the sperm in a sterile jar to you. So you could even get a gay guy to become the involuntary father of your child.

Do be warned about a number of potential problems:

    1) If the father dies before your child is born you would have a legal claim on his estate. But getting his DNA to prove paternity may be difficult, especially if he is cremated.

    2) A few men who realise that his girlfriend is pregnant and she won't have an abortion have induced and abortion by punching her hard in the lower abdomen. Naturally this is an illegal and criminal act, but case law has shown the charge is assault, which some men may be prepared to face. You may want to stay out of his way till the baby is born (as killing his child after birth is murder.

    3) He may sue for visitation rights. It is often possible to frustrate his attempts to visit his child, but there are rare cases where the court has jailed the mother for refusing visitation rights.

    4) It is theoretically possible for the man to sue for custody and make YOU pay child support to HIM. His chances of success are very low because you're female and he's male, but it has happened.

    5) Be warned that such action won't get him to marry you. You don't start off a successful marriage by deceiving someone.

    6) Also be warned that becoming a single mother doesn't put you in an enviable position to find other men for marriage or long term relationships. Most men don't want to get involved in raising another man's child.

Really cases such as yours should be handled by a "paper abortion" (or "statutory abortion") in which the child is still born alive but he has the right to end all his paternal rights and obligations before the child is born or as soon as he learns of the child's existence (whichever is later). I don't agree with such a move if the guy has voluntarily had vaginal intercourse with a woman but he really had no expectation that oral sex would make him a father.
