• Should I be worried about buying a car far under market value?

Saw a 2007 Toyota Corolla from a private dealer with 130k miles for 2000 dollars. I would figure that even if, say, a head gasket was blown, spending 1000 to get it replaced would still put this car under fair market value. But I'm worried that the fact that he's selling it so low means something is seriously wrong with it. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid?

So my parents are really strict, to a point where I'm just stuck in the house. I have friends at school but the only time I talk to them is over the phone or through text, but sense I don't really know them outside of school or really "hang out" with them, I feel like I only know the school side of them. So yea, I really don't consider anyone to truly be my best friend or even my friend in general. I've missed so many events that would have benefited me towards things like college (college visits my parents will not let me attend) and events where I can have fun, to a point where I don't even care about going to things like prom. I'm just tired of being fake and pretend happy to people, because I truly feel lonely and depressed all the time in the inside, and nobody knows that. So there really wouldn't be any reason for me to even go to prom. Like I've never even had a girlfriend or even a first kiss for that matter, and I'm only 16. Like everyone is doing so much, and it may seem little or not as important, but too me, because of my parents sheltering me off so ******* much, I feel like the most loneliest person in the world. IN the house, I'm either asleep, on the internet most of the time, or just shooting hoops in my backyard. That's practically it. It honestly just sucks, that I have no emotions to things that are "important" IS THIS NORMAL FOR PARENTS TO DO? HAVE YOUR PARENTS DONE THE SAME THING?

We’re looking into getting a house. We can’t rent as no one in my town allows pets. Not even apartments. Trust me, I looked. We own 5 cats of various ages. As for the desired house, we don’t care. As long as it’s decent and not in a major flood zone. By decent, I mean mostly maintained and not literally falling apart. We’re not picky. I’m just asking, can we get a house? Price is $30,000 and below as I know with us having no credit brings us with a limited selection. I’d like to know what can we do? Also, can’t get credit cards cause my mom hates them with a passion.

See, i know this is going to sound rude so if you're easily offended just don't read, duhh. I am 20 & a Black woman. I do my best to look good.. You do get the idea. I try to look my best. Thankfully I'm not bad-looking so i do get asked out too When i was growing up, i always noticed how practically all men, esp. non-white ones, LUSTED after White women. My own brother, and my dad (though he's still married to my Black mom), too. It was hurtful. My brother is 12 years older than me. He used to EXCLUSIVELY date White women. My dad would visibly lust after those women. And all other men too. So growing up, i decided I'll ONLY date White men, because i know how ,on the inside, most of these men (including my brother who is HIGHLY successful) will reject the best of Black girls for her colour. I'd rather not be someone's compromise or second choice. I'll date only White guys so that i can be assured they find me attractive for having Black skin, or finding me exotic..instead of because they "couldn't land a White girl". I am trying to make myself prettier and I'm in University, now. I date only White men. I have straight hair, I'm thin, i speak properly and do my best in studies because i want to be rich and be able to live happy, and get revenge on those who made me feel less because I'm a Black woman. Do you have any advice for me (only answer if you're older than at least 35-40)? How do i become a successful, rich, pretty Black girl who can attract White guys easily?

  • Why can't liberals come to grips with the fact they lost the last election and Trump is the president?

Best answer: Because most Democratic/Liberals are unreasonable and believe everything they see on their Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Youtube, and whatever crazy media is out there now a days.

Best answer: No. He was incompetent. He's now seeing how easily he could have been a very powerful president. He has to wake up everyday and see Trump fight more battles than Obama ever did and while doing so putting more people to work, generating more economic growth, creating record high tax receipts, and unprecedented economic growth as far as the eyes can see.

I think Obama is very regretful that he spent 8 years using executive orders while doing everything to crush the American economy.
