  • Parents: Would you disapprove if your child became vegetarian?

Would you try to stop them? or encourage them? Or something else. Not here to judge, I'm just interested, if I had a child I would let them, I would even make vegetarian food for them.

  • Do vegans think that indigenous poeple who live up in the arctic can survive without hunting for meat?

Best answer: Eating animals for survival, when there is no other option, is very different from eating them out of greed and personal preference (which is the case for most people who eat meat). Do you understand the difference?

  • Just turned vegan: how to get over extreme hunger?

Best answer: Eat some meat. That is a sign that being vegan is bad for you. Eat a steak or a cheeseburger. Cheeseburgers are delicious and filling. Cows taste good.

I've been eating less and less meat for about a year, and I've managed to get him to stop giving me pork, beef, lamb, basically any meat apart from chicken. Everyday each member of the family cooks and monday is my day, so I cook pasta with spicy tomato sauce, olives and peas, but he always complains that there is no meat, I'm 15 so I don't move out for ages. How do I get him to leave me alone?

If I m vegan is it still okay to eat the eggs as a source of fat and protein knowing that they the hens had been treated with proper care? *1 they bought just a few in the beginning and then the number grew bc they reproduced. Now there are over 30 there *2 they live on an island and have lots of land (and i mean like a lot) where they keep them and they also grow their veggies on a separate part of the land

Hi! I'm a 13 year old girl who wants to go vegan. My mom isn't the healthiest of people with her never cooking at home and always making my brother, my sister and I to eat like junk everyday. I've tried sitting down with her explaining how we could save money and be healthier by cooking home cooked meals. She spends about $20 on food per day which is about $600 per month, where as I've made recipes and added up the cost so we can eat for $250 or less. I stated that even if the rest of the family would not like to switch to veganism it would still be way cheaper than what we are currently spending. I take cooking classes with my grandmum and I know how to cook so she would not have to worry about cooking. I have told her the reasons why I want to go vegan and she tells me I'm going to die early because of it. In my defense im the one trying to get back into shape while as she's eating $20 of junk food all day. I've been working out more and more and I've dropped 50 pounds in the last three months. How can I vommconvince my mom to let me go vegan/help the costliness of food per month? Because eating at $20 per day for a four dollar family is outrageous when I can feed 3 full meals and desert per day for half of that. Help guys!
