• Do you think Floyd Mayweather Jr. will embarrass Conor McGregor in their upcoming fight?

Best answer: Yeah, but as always Mayweather gets to specify every detail of the match down to his own most minute accommodations.

I've been saying there should be one boxing and one MMA match to even things out, even in any order.

  • Will Conor Mcgregor beat Floyd Mayweather?

I think he will. The reason why is because Conor is terrible on the ground but kill his on his feet. I will say that Floyd has great defense and Conor will have to train hard to get around that and floyds jabs are amazing but I just see more confidence in Mcgregor. I think Floyd is going to underestimate Conor.... show more

Just remember, everyone said that there would be no way that Trump could win with no political experience but it happened and he s now president of the U.S seriously, anything can happen if you put your mind to it.

When Mayweather made his professional debut it was against a fighter who was also making his professional debut and not against someone who was 49-0.

Saul Alvarez, Diego Corrales and Ricky Hatton all lost their undefeated records trying to beat Mayweather and they each had at least 30 fights under their belts at the time.

So if they couldn't do it how is someone with 0 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws going to do it? It's just about ripping people off and lining their own pockets, don't be a victim.

  • Ward/Kovalez, bad stoppage by Weeks? Low blows? How did you have it scored through 7rds?

Best answer: Well, I told you two days ago that I was happy that Weeks got the call. Now, I just watched the fight and it's clear that he ballsed it up in there last night by not calling the shots low. However, I don't think the stoppage was a bad one if that makes sense. So, I'm saying that if Weeks deemed the shots Ward was landing against Kovalev against the ropes, legal ones, then I agree that it was time to stop the fight when he did. Kovalev wasn't defending himself, wasn't throwing back and didn't take a knee. But it's clear that Ward was digging in some brutal low blows on the Russian just prior to the stoppage, I don't know how Weeks couldn't see it.

At the time of the stoppage I had it 67-66 Kovalev.

What do you think, was it a bad call by Weeks?

  • How does floyd so much make money from a single fight ?

Best answer: that would be a percentage of PPV, the gate, endorsements, advertising, fees, and even a percentage of the concessions and beer sales.
That amount of money just tells you how many fools have money to throw away.

Best answer: Here is the thing...

    1. Am I going to watch it? .... yes

    2. Do I think it will be competitive? NO

    3. WHY am I going to watch it then? ..... Its because deep down, everybody likes a spectacle!

This is a circus fight! If it were MMA or a real street fight... McGregor would ANNIHILATE Mayweather! It would be savage! However, this is neither MMA or a street fight, its BOXING. Boxing is a sport where even high-level amateur boxers have to start out fighting 4 rounds, then 6, then 8, then 10, before they can fight 12 rounds. Its not easy, and its not something McGregor has ever done. I'm not saying he doesn't have stamina... he does. What I'm saying is that it is a VERY difficult thing to do know how to pace yourself over the course of a 12 round fight, when you have NEVER done it before! Its a delicate thing, because you have to expend enough energy round after round in order to win the rounds, without gassing out, you got to go after Mayweather, and in order to win rounds he'll have to expend a lot of energy, while keeping enough in the tank for each successive round, and every new round you're starting off with less than you had the previous round.

Conversely, Mayweather conserves energy very well when he fights. He has mastered a way of fighting that requires him to expend very little energy, and effortlessly rack up rounds. The ONLY rounds Mayweather has EVER lost... were against guys like Miguel Cotto, Castillo, and Marcos Maidana were rounds where these guys had to burn CRAZY ENERGY to win rounds, and they still couldn't win enough rounds to win the fight! More importantly, these were guys that had TONS of experience in 12 round fight! Connor McGregor has NONE!!! BELIEVE ME HE IS GOING TO GAS OUT!!!

Besides the HUGE 12-Round factor issue, there are a myriad of other daunting issues against McGregor!!!

Yes McGregor is a little taller than Mayweather, he's a little longer armed too, and generally bigger than Mayweather, and yes those things help to a certain extent. ALSO... Yes, McGregor has great stand-up striking in MMA. In MMA his boxing is high-level, however, in BOXING... his boxing is NOT high-level, its above average at BEST!!! There are levels to this, and Mayweather is at the very top. McGregor is NOT! Whatever size, reach, and strength advantages he has, will be taken away from him by the way Mayweather fights, and it will get worse as the fight goes on, and McGregor continues to burn-out his stamina.

McGregor has punching power! Unquestionably he "COULD" knock out Mayweather "IF" he can catch him, so people say McGregor has a "punchers chance" in this fight.

    ... I assure you... he doesn't!!!

In order for McGregor to knock Mayweather out... he would have to land a HARD, clean punch, that lands flush.... WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW MAYWEATHER GET HIT WITH A HARD, CLEAN, FLUSH LANDING PUNCH?!?!?! ... I can tell you when it was in 2010!!! SEVEN YEARS AGO, in the second round, when he fought Shane Mosely!!!

Shane Mosely was already a seasoned boxing veteran, a hall-of-fame fighter, with BIG POWER, and he had AMAZINGLY fast hands (much faster than McGregor), and then... after staggering Mayweather... he did NOTHING!!! Mayweather made the adjustment, and was NEVER rocked again, in that fight, or any other!

Floyd Mayweather's defense is so incredible, that even the absolute BEST BOXERS can't crack him!!! What chance does McGregor have??? ....NONE!!!

I'm watching this fight for the antics, and the historical/circus factor! I know Mayweather is going to win a very wide Unanimous decision, and will probably embarrass McGregor badly. But, I don't think Mayweather has to power to hurt or knockout the Irishman, it will go the distance, and will probably have some memorable moments throughout.
