I’m currently a target forward for my team and after playing as a winger during my breaks I’ve discovered that I am a better winger. There’s this guy on my team that is in that winger position and also happens to be my roommate but he’s not as good as I am. So how should I go about asking my coach if I can try being put in games as a winger?

I suppose some people just like to get drunk and fight and that's as good an excuse as any.

I took my son to a football match at Wembley Stadium: England Vs USA. (i'm not a football fan, but my son is). During the extra time, the announcer declared the "Man of the Match" on the loud speakers DURING play. The match was not over yet. It was right in the middle of when someone was in the middle of the action within the goals box. Why would the announcer do this ? It puts off players and the match isn't even over yet! Is this normal ? Personally I thought it's very rude and impatient. They cant just wait a few mins for the end of the match ? Surely this 'temporarily' puts off players. What if the Man of Match name is called out while he is fending off 2 opposing players ? he may hear his name, feel happy, but get distracted. etc
