To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Pep Guardiola's tactics. The style is extremely complex, and without a solid grasp of footballing tactics most of the tactics will go over a typical fan's head. There's also Pep's possession game, which is deftly woven into it's characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Rinus Michel's total football, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these tactics, to realize that they're not just entertaining - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Pep Guardiola truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Pep's existencial style of "Zonal Marking" which itself is a cryptic reference to Ajax's epic team of the 70's. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Pep Guardiola's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Pep Guardiola tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

  • Should 'Parking the Bus' be banned in Premier League Football ?

And if so called 'big clubs' ( top 4) are found doing it, should be fined £250,000 AND be docked 3 points lol ? im not singling out anybody or nothing. I'm just generaly saying, that if a top 4 team is caught bus parking - then they should get fined for it. thoughts ?

  • If Liverpool are world class then why are they 7th and haven't won a CL group stage game yet?

Best answer: Teams can get results against them, but only really by parking the bus or at least trying to stifle Liverpool's attacking flair in some way, very few teams can actually go toe to toe with them and play an open expansive game. Best answer: Teams can get results against them, but only really by parking the bus or at least trying to stifle Liverpool's attacking flair in some way, very few teams can actually go toe to toe with them and play an open expansive game. City are probably the only team in the PL that could do it, it would have been an amazing game if Mane stayed on.

The fact that teams constantly just park the bus against them is a testament to their ability, teams that try to go toe to toe with them like Arsenal and Spurs usually get trounced, giving some claim that they could be world class as good teams like Spurs & Arsenal get beaten easily. But obviously the fact that their Achilles heel of being poor defensively particularly from set pieces is their downfall which puts the equation into balance as if they were world class then they should be able to adapt their style and thrive in different kinds of games and not just one type.

Uniteds midfield sat deep at times and struggled to find any ryhtem in their passing as gary neville pointed out. Great performance by Matip and Lovren btw, and Gomez too. Lukaku perhaps will mature into his role as the season goes on, but I was surprised at how comfortable it was for us against a side that are considered title contenders. United were stuck in 2nd gear all afternoon but parked the jose bus v well lol Lukaku overrated slightly perhaps ?

  • LIVERPOOL 0-0 MAN UTD - WTF was that?

We were atrocious especially in the second half. All we did was just aimlessly hoof the ball up the pitch. Its all good beating the teams like West Ham convincingly but we NEED to beat the better teams as well.

Before the season had began, i tipped City to win the title and I still stick with this. However I am not ruling any of the teams beloe them, including Arsenal and ourselves to emerge as title challengers at some later stage of the epl campaign. Lots going to happen in the league between now and the end of the season, by which stage we'll be witnessing who gets crowned as THE CHAMPIONS. I believe there are potentialy 5 or 6 teams who can win the title. Man United cannot be written off after todays 0-0 draw at Anfield, that would be outrageously stupid. I guess we have to wait and see how things unfold week by week. Also, the January transfer window will be a crucial time for the top teams. Im interested to see how City do from now up until Christmas and whether they will be occupying first or second. Likewise, it will be interesting to see if the current top two in the table lose their positions and fall out of the top two and in their place, we may see two other clubs there instead. By thus stage maybe we will be seeing 4 teams in with a chance to win the title, with teams in 5th and 6th not very far behind in capitalising on points dropped by those above. What I can predict however, is that Man city will defo be taking it to the wire with whoever challenges them for the title. This means City are either finishing as Champions or runners up. 1st or 2nd. Thoughts ?

Best answer: You know on Twitter some guy said the ref won that match and that Ireland were playing dirty and they were targeting Joe Allen. First of all why do people criticise other teams for actually doing something right. Say they did "target" him that's smart because he's one of their best players. And yes they didn't even target him and if it seemed that way that's because he was on the ball. Wow Ireland are so dirty for trying to win the ball. That particular Welsh fan also seems to forget when the hairy bastard came to Dublin he was one of the dirtiest players on the pitch. Why is it when teams lose the winners get criticised it's pathetic. Criticising teams because they find a way to win or draw is hilarious. Fact is Wales just weren't that good. And on England I'm looking forward to seeing them because I think defensively they'll be exposed. For a team like England this group probably should have been easier than it was. Still they're in a good position to get to the last 8 again imo
