  • Why do some parents allow their 4th grade daughter to wear mismatched clothing or have their hair unbrushed at school?

Best answer: Wow, a bit judegmental are you.
Who cares she doesn't wear only name brand clothes.
Being popular in school means nothing.
Unbrushed hair doesn't mean the child can't be educated.

So like we were all at block party yesterday and you know there was food, music, kids playing, ect. So this little girl about 8 or 9 who was doing some kind energetic dance started to have a crowd of people form around her to watch. Everyone was cooing how adorable she was and how good her dancing was. I guess this made her scared or shy because she stopped dancing and just kinda stood there smiling and kicking the ground. Well this dude goes over to her from the crowd, kneels down and tells her that he'll give her 5 dollars if she starts dancing again. All of a sudden this huge voice booms "My daughter isn't one of your topless dancers or cheap ******!! Do you want to go on a sex offender registry?" This dude who was her dad makes his way to the dude with a red face and veins bulging in his head like he wants to seriously knock the guys block off. Me and some other people in the crowd started booing and telling the dad to calm down and stop stepping to the left because the dude was just trying to get the girl to dance again. It wasn't like he asked her for a lap dance or a private dance for his own enjoyment. He just offered her 5 dollars to butter her up to dance for the crowd again because everyone liked her dancing. I saw it as an innocent gesture. But her dad flipped his **** and started telling us "What if it was your child? Would you still feel the same?" in the end he picked her up and left. Left a bad mood over the rest of the party. Do you think he overreacted?

As it turns out ... I found out shrinks think that if you are sexually active they categorize you at a higher risk for being a nutcase. In other words, you lying to your therapist is actually a good thing.

Public schools don't have many dress codes in our district, but the school administrators are requiring my 12 year old to wear a bra. They mention that other children feel uncomfortable around her and that it is not appropriate for her to go to school without one. Why would other children even be paying attention to this? They are still schoolchildren, playing with dolls, on the playground, and interested in playing with toy cars! The school is pretty crazy to sexualize a little girl and suggest that most kids wear a bra at this age. I didn't wear one until I was 14. It horrified me when they taught puberty to 10 year olds! I don't think my daughter needs a bra. She is a growing girl, but those undergarments are for high schoolers.

Recurrent head lice is often a sign the child is #1 not properly checked daily for two weeks, #2 home (or her room) wasn’t cleaned properly, and #3 parent failed to use an over-the-counter lice treatment kit.
—- Have the mom cut the hair shorter, about 6 inch length (length of your hand). It will be easier to de-louse with the kit. Next, call the beauty salons and ask if they will cut her hair after a lice treatment. A short pixie style will look cute, and will be easy to manage. There’s NO reason to shave her bald. —- The mon has to de-louse the girl with an actual lice kit. Home remedies don’t always work. All bedding must be stripped and laundered in hot water, dried on the hottest setting. ALL stuffed animals, hair clips, and so one All fabric furniture in the house had to be sprayed. Check DAILY. A list of “to-do” to get rid lice is below

My son is 18 but it's his senior year in high school. Yesterday I found out through speaking with the school that my son has been skipping multiple days of school. I also recently found weed and alcohol bottles in his room. I know's hes legally an adult, but he still lives under my roof, and he should abide my rules which include attending school, no smoking, and no drinking. His father says he's too old to be grounded, but he's always been the more lenient parent. I think he should be grounded for a month, which is the same way I would punish my other 2 children (14, and 11). Any suggestions or thoughts?

His teachers and the counselor at his high school have called me before to inform about how he seems "very quiet and shy," almost lonely, and doesn't interact with his peers. He told me that he doesn't have any friends and didn't want any.

And women too, which is why they treat sex offenders worse than animals? Men are stronger and have the right to dominate women and children. Let them protect themselves or suffer.
