• Do Americans hate their children so much that they opt out of immunizing their children against, Polio, Rubella and smallpox etc?

How can you put your children at risk? You don't love them, obviously, as your parents so loved you that had you immunized against disease.

My one month old baby is already interested in the food I'm eating. One day we were cuddling, her head on my chest relaxing and I was trying to sneak in a snack, well she legit picked her head up and turn it in the direction to watch me open up the wrapper, just staring at me as I'm eating. Another day I had her propped up in my lap and was eating she waited until I was done then started crying. She eats about anywhere from 4 to 8 ounces at a time. She wakes up every two or three hours and every night around 4am. Maybe because my husband gets up at that time for work, not sure. I've been putting a bit of cereal in her bottle and it doesn't seem to be working. If I don't feed her fast enough she will go into wailing mode,it's a wonder the neighbor hasn't said anything. I give her just a bit of the food I'm eating as a tasteful and that's about it. I have given her a bit of applesauce as her own food. Diapers are normal, only thing is they're green. She's formula fed.Happy and healthy baby girl. I'm just worried. First baby is all. Should I keep going with the baby food? Should I talk to the doctor?

Benefits I could see would be, if there are family members that are at the destination city and your presence would add to the family bonding, then, yes. If it's just the same old family members just wanting us all to go to Florida for an amusement park, then, I'd only go if it wasn't a hassle, but last I checked having a 4 month old for a new mom with no other kids to benefit, doesn't motivate me to be stressed out packing and moving around from car to plane to other plane to hotel to get there...then hotel to plane to other plane to car to return. Moving on, I would NOT take my 4 month old skin sensitive baby to an amusement park with viruses from all over the world masked under the guise of people having fun. Too risky for a baby who wont remember a thing. I would not go. Catch ya'll next time.

  • 5 Month old baby still wakes up at least once a night?

I hear people say how their baby, much younger than my almost 5 month old daughter, is sleeping throughout the night and how they can sleep up to 11 hours per night! My baby, at her best night, still wakes up once around 1-3 am to get a diaper change and eat. When did your babies start to sleep all night?!

Hi I am sorry to bother you with my question I just need advice from you. You see me and my partner have a newborn she's bearly 3 months old. Everyday and night I take care of her I am happy to spend time with her dont get me wrong. The thing is that he does not help me even if I ask him to help me with the baby he starts to complain. I cant do anything for example cook or laundry, shower or even go to the restroom. The baby starts to cry and my partner just stares at the baby and I'm like really?? Do something. I get so frustrated and depressed. His never there when I need him also. Were after all a teamwork. Every morning he tells to make breakfast for him I want to but he does not take care of the baby. he than gets mad and starts saying the baby is just an excuse I am using or he starts to insult me that I am lazy. The baby is also a light sleeper so every little sound I make she wakes up. I cry myself getting into more depression. I honestly get tired not having the time to relax or get help from him.

  • Is it safe for an Infant to play and lay down on a rug that's on top of tile?

Best answer: He will be fine, he is more likely to hit his head and hurt himself on the tile than on the rug. Just make sure you get a pad for the rug so it does not slip.

When/if the baby is then temporarily handed to me, he/she often goes to sleep or at least stops being irritable. If the baby is handed to another person after me, he/she often resumes crying. Same with animals or at least similar: I often see them squirm whenever others hold them; sometimes even make their noise or maybe even bite/scratch whoever’s holding them. Then when/if handed to me, they get tame. If handed to someone else after me, they often get physical again.

Best answer: Are you bothered by him sleeping with you, or do you just think he should be sleeping in his crib?

If it's not bothering you, there isn't any special reason he needs to sleep in his crib at this age. He is too young for sleep training, and it is very normal for a two month old to wake several times per night.

If you are sleep deprived and need him to be in his crib in order for you to sleep, I agree with the suggestions about swaddling and white noise - you could try a box fan on low set up against the leg of his crib.

You're doing a great job, it just sounds like you're getting inside your head too much and allowing your anxiety to get the best of you.
