• Do you think Disney tickets are too expensive ? They are expensive, but i think theirs a lot of value there for the dollar.?

Best answer: Takes a lot of money to pay employees to keep things clean, running smooth etc. It seems pricey but not so much when you think about all that goes into upkeep.

  • Which of these places are nice to live in: St Augustine, FL, Naples, FL or Winterhaven, FL?

Best answer: St Augustine is as good as it gets. It is not actually a big city. There is plenty to do and see. Housing is plentiful. The beaches are only a mile or so from the downtown area. Every store and restaurant that you can think of, is right on Route 1. The people are very friendly in the area.

When we go on the trip I will be 15 and my sister will be 19. I’m super embarrassed to tell my friends I’m going to Disney world. We’ve already been 3 times when my sister and I were actually kids, so we definitely don’t need to go again. I’m not really interested in any Disney movies anymore, rides just make me dizzy, and I certainly don’t plan on running around getting all the princess’ autographs. Is there anything I might enjoy there? Should I tell my friends I’m going to dinsey, or should I just say Florida to save myself from the embarrassment? Do other families that don’t have kids go there?

Best answer: Those lights actually do turn on and off. You just must not have seen it. They are called "tattletale lights." They are for police to use. Since police officers can't actually see if a light has turned red in any direction other than the direction he's facing, these lights tell police when those lights change. This is important because in Florida there is actually these little delays when all lights are red, meaning the light in your direction remains red momentarily even after the light in another direction has turned red and would presumably allow you to go. That's to prevent accidents that happen when people quickly take off into an intersection when the light changes green and another car is trying to beat the red light in their direction but doesn't make it before it turns red. Anyway, these tattletale lights allow police to sit down the road and out of sight and watch to see if anyone's failing to stop at the traffic signal when their light is red. If a police officer sees the tattletale light turn blue and then a car from the direction of that blue tattletale light goes through the intersection, the police officer knows that car ran the red light even though the traffic signal in the police officer's direction may still be red.

You do not HAVE to use FastPass+, but it is recommended, especially on popular attractions. If you are staying in a Disney World resort you can book them 60 days in advance; if you're not staying in a Disney World resort you can book them 30 days in advance. You can only book three per day, then once those three are used up at the park you can add more one at a time.

  • How do FastPass work at Disney World (Orlando,FL)?

Best answer: it is NOT a front of the line pass. each attraction is rated ( by popularity) and prior to arriving you can pre choose up to 3 at each park for a specific day. how far in advance of arrival depends on whether you are staying on site or off site.

they are valid for a time frame of about an hour and they let you skip the 'stand by' line which can have waits of 2 hours or more. and go to a shorter line( which still may have a wait of 15 minutes or longer)

if a park has several very popular rides, you may only be able to choose one of them and must choose 2 of the less popular rides for the remainder fo your FP+. once you have used all three, you may get one at a time for the rest fo the day. ( and yes you can try and get a second FP+ for the same ride)

some rides you may not even need a FP+, or for whatever reason they are not using them that day. this seems to happen at Haunted mansion a lot. dunno why.

some rides it would be a complete waste if you are using a ECV or wheelchair due to where you enter the line in the first place. and for others, a the single rider line is probably faster if that is an option( no small children who need to sit with adults)
