So we’ve only been married 3 months. I’m wondering if I should try to work this out or leave. I have fibromyalgia. I’ve been with him for two years. He knows my condition. I’m in pain every single day. It takes me a good hour just to feel normal in the morning after I wake up. On the weekends he wants sex the very moment I open my eyes. I’m very cranky from the pain so I tell him I need to wake up first so I feel better. So I just move around to allow my body to adjust from waking up. He goes to the kitchen to make coffee while I get myself together. Then, I go to hug him in the kitchen and he shrugs me off him. I ask what’s wrong and he says that he’s turned off now because I’m selfish and only want sex when it’s convenient for me. I can’t live like this in such an unaffectionate marriage. He doesn’t want to hear about how I feel. He seemed so understanding before we married. Now he calls me lazy and a quitter. Can this be worked out? Right now my pride is hurt more than anything because I’m too logical to let abuse get to me emotionally. W just see it for what it is. Should I just leave? What should I do?

My grandma paid cash for my house and he was supposed to reimburse her and never did . He claims she “bought him the house as a gift and it’s his house his rules and I am to obey”. He tells me what I can and can’t do what pets I can have what I can cook if he doesn’t like it we don’t have it. He often will eat Most of the food and demand to take the leftovers to work and I’ll go hungry. Don’t even suggest counseling they threw us out we are done with them. Is this normal? Why can’t he understand I don’t love him and don’t want him?

I pay child support for my 15 year old daughter monthly. My ex uses the money to support my daughter and the other 2 kids because their dads are not on court mandated child support. They are self-employed and barely give her anything. Since the child support I'm paying is supporting 4 people, my daughter did not have money to participate in an extra curricular activity at school; her mom didn't have the money. So now, my 15-year old has a parttime job after school and is missing some of her school homework. 1) Can the courts require her to get support from the 2 dads? 2) Can I reduce my child support by sending money to the school for xtra curricular activities. 3) Can I send a portion of the child support directly to my daughter?

It wasn't assault as you are both adults, regardless of what happened, unless you were tied up or you said no, or you tried to push him off you at some point, you had a play in it too. I understand that you may have had some life issues at the time this happened, he came to you at your weakest point, but you gave in to that weakness and let him do those things to you. Unfortunately it sucks. But time to move on. The more you dwell on this situation the crappier your life will be. Not his. As he probably either doesn't care, or has moved on from you to some other women.

If you want closure, only thing you can do is call and talk to him and tell him what he did was crappy, or write a letter to him. Otherwise it is what it is.

  • I have an uncle who is getting divorced after 27 years of marriage. Is it okay to date before divorce is final?

Best answer: Your mom is doing the wrong thing. At any time in the divorce process, things can turn around. It's not done until the ink is dry on the court order.

  • Can a divorced parent move a child out of state without the other parent s permission?

Best answer: Usually such terms would be spelled out in a custody agreement. Otherwise even if you do not local courts would generally not let him move out without your "permission". However you would have to file against him in court before the kids establish residency in the new state (within 30 days). Once they establish residency in the new state you would lose your chance to stop him. You need to tell your ex that you will take him to court if he tried to move, so he needs to stop thinking about moving.

Some parents get clever and convince the other parent to let the kids spend the summer in the new state. They establish residency and next thing you know your kids are 1000 miles away and you lost your chance to do anything about it.
