  • Do you prefer cooking home cooked meals or buying meals in a restaurant?

Best answer: Home, for sure. I, or a close family member, have worked in at least 25 restaurants in my lifetime. Most of them are dirty, or the food is handled poorly. A few are spotless, with great quality control... and a few are so filthy that we have reported them to the Health Department, However, most of them are dirtier... show more

A few are spotless, with great quality control... and a few are so filthy that we have reported them to the Health Department, However, most of them are dirtier and poorer-kept than my own kitchen, and in most of them the people who work there either don't know, or don't care -- or both -- about sanitation and safe food handling. So, I prefer to eat at home.

When my mom makes them the shell comes off easily with the egg being quite slippery and tasting great while super easy to chew. What am I doing wrong?

  • How many Americans on here cook fresh food each day? Do you shop at a butcher's and a greengrocers? Or is it all supermarket ready made?

Best answer: I don't know where people from other countries get this belief that all Americans eat at fast food or eat at restaurants all the time. In our house and most people I know it is once every month or two otherwise we cook fresh food everyday.

I am on a low carb diet so I thought I would bring some chicken - that way if the pastor is serving the other guests pizza - I will at the very least - have something that I can eat. But I thought one chicken might not be enough cause other people might eat the chicken I bought so I thought maybe its better I bring 2 chickens instead of one. However - my parents might get mad at me for wasting my money if I bring 2 chickens to the dinner tonight.

  • What is your favorite vegetarian dish(es) to cook?

I generally cook food that can be made quickly, like stir fry. But there are those dishes that I will get a crazy hankering for, even if they take a long time to make or have ingredients that are harder to find. My favorites are paneer tikka masala, lasagna, and chili. What are yours?

I bought a set of your cook wear in Collections magazine and was so impressed I bought 3 more sets for my children spending over $800.00. I understood that it was scratch proof. I saw one ad (might not have been yours) where they were using an electric mixer and it did not scratch. My large cook pot has scratches all around the sides and I don't know why. I do use coated utensils which you say you don't have to do. How do I get a replacement. I cannot find my warranty if I had one and I have had it about a year. It was ordered in the name of Faye Vaughan or Sammie Vaughan 1329 Wooten Rd, Nesbit, Ms 38651.
