  • What happens if you NEVER wash your car?

Whenever I've had it serviced, they say it's in great shape (even looking under the car). It doesn't look dirty. (I guess I chose the right paint color, haha). I don't not wash it on purpose. It's just that I am really poor and can't afford to do it regularly, so I just never remember to do it. So I'm just wondering... what happens if you never ever wash your car for years?

Before you rubbish other people try it for yourselves. We need to stop governments from pushing us around. I know for some of yoy you need cat converters to pass MOT , but once you get your MOT take them off

  • Would this look bad on a car?

Would it look bad If a car has side Windows tinted but not the rearview windshield? My dad is doing my tint but doesn't have enough for the back. He said it wouldn't be noticeable but I'm not sure.

  • How bad are car brakes?

I noticed in the last week a big grinding noise from my front brakes. The worst is when I am at my final point of stopping. I feel I need brakes and rotors. I drive less now and may wait until spring. How bad are brakes and what can happen if I wait to fix them?

I bought a car knowing it would need a new clutch so I got the car cheaper and I drove it for a month or two and then replaced the clutch, but it took about a month to get all the parts as they had to be shipped from a different country anyway when I got the car back and the gearbox was working fine but then there was a rattling inside of the actual engine not the engine bay and now it doesn t start up, got a mechanic to look at it and he said it will be thousands to fix and there s no point in fixing it and should just buy a new car. I haven t done anything to the car and have treated it very well so there should be no reason for the engine to die like this, I ve made sure it always has enough oil and kept everything up to date. I then found out that the guy before me was doing big burnouts in the car and stuff like that. Also found out that he got a fake roadworthy for it because it doesn t have a cat on the exhaust but there could have been something wrong with the engine and they didn t even check. Only think I m skeptical on is that ive had the car for 3 months and thought that the damage should have showed up sooner. Anyway the main question is what should I do about it as he treated the car terribly and now I have no car and have spent so much money on getting the clutch fixed and buying the car just for the engine to die

Best answer: They have for many years been ordinary filament bulbs and often still are, but some these days can be LEDs etc.

The rotors and pads were worn out on my 2006 Mazda 6 because of the left caliper being rusted stuck, so I replaced them myself. The brakes were fine in the beginning, but now they have started to vibrate while braking. I've found out that I have made some errors while fixing my brakes: I didn't clean/lubricate the sliding pin when changing the caliper, but I think the new one had grease in it. I didn't clean the rust off the hub. I didn't use a torque wrench. I didn't bed the brakes Now, have I destroyed the brakes, or would it help to redo it and fix my mistakes? Is it dangerous to continue driving with this?

I won’t have any money to go get it fixed until Christmas, which I’m supposed to be spending in Chicago and I’m driving 6 hours. Is it safe to drive 6 hours straight and wait about a week to get this fixed?
