• What's up with the time difference between Narnia and our World?

So, if at the end 2 minutes had been 20 years, how does it seem like it had only been a few days since Edmund had left Jadis and Lucy had left Tumnus? Any suggestions? Am I the... show more

  • Is it okay for an adult to like Spongebob?

I'm 24 years old, and I think the first 3 seasons of Spongebob are comic gold. (Everything after that is crap.) And I feel like many of the jokes (whether they contain hidden innuendo or not) are targeted at adults. Take for example this joke from an episode. Spongebob's afraid of getting beat up by a bully. He laments: "There are so many things in life I haven't gotten to do!" We then see like a two-second vision of him working at a call center and cheerfully transferring someone's call. It's an ironic and pessimistic (and hilarious) view of the life your average adult has to look forward to. As a kid, I never understood that joke, but as an adult, I find it super funny. But someone challenge me on this. Am I a child for liking this show? Is Spongebob a brainless show?

  • Is it only illegal to download copyrighted videos if I profit it off it?

So, I found the perfect site to download anime episodes (https://www5.dubhappytv.com) but I don't know if it's legal. I'm only going to make AMV's out of them. I'm not going to exploit or send them around. Or maybe I can just delete them afterwards?

  • Robin (Dick Grayson) vs Daredevil?

Best answer: Robin. Daredevil is a good fighter but Dick is not in Matt's level. I'll give it to Robin on this one with a tough battle.

The most bland character of the series is Korra herself; she is headstrong, arrogant, and stubborn - a complete 180 from Aang. It was due to her arrogance and actions that many tenants of the Avatar were lost.

The majority of the stories take place in a central location as well, so that sense of an epic adventure are lost along with the whimsy of discovering new cultures and animals. New friends are made along the way, sure, but it's just more of the same, or has to harken back to remnants of the previous series.

In fact, the best parts of the The Legend of Korra involved characters from The Last Airbender.

But otherwise the rest of it I don't really care for, it's just not up to DBZ's level. In my own headcanon GT and Super don't exist, the story stops at DBZ as far as I'm concerned.
