  • If I earn only like $100-200 a week, and I’m in debt by $1700 - should I buy this?

Title says it all. I have 2 part time jobs- could be $100 a week, or up to $200 - inconsistent due to low hours but it’s around - usually around the $100 mark. Anyway... I really want to buy this new piece of technology. It costs around... $2500-3000. I know I don’t “need” it but I really want it. What should I... show more

  • Is there a way that I can give someone permission to use my bank account card while I’m away?

Best answer: Would you literally trust this person with your life ?? You could give them prepaid cards, or find some other way to limit your exposure to finances "disappearing."

Early in March my husband ordered a suit from one of his favorite online retailers. He's ordered a number of suits from them over the years and has a good reputation with them. He ordered a blue suit but when the package arrived the suit they shipped was grey even though his order and shipping paperwork said blue. He contacted them and they shipped him the correct suit a few days later with a return label to ship the other one back. That was late March. Here we are almost a month later and the incorrect suit is still sitting in our living room boxed and ready to ship back. Yes, he put the return label on it but has yet to take it to a UPS center to ship it back. He's beginning to think that if they haven't emailed him about the suit by now that they aren't worried about really getting it back. When they shipped the incorrect suit he began an email correspondence with them so it's not like they don't know how to get in touch with him. He has an account with them so they have all his information. I'm not sure if he has his credit card info saved on their site so I'm not sure if they can or will charge his card for the suit. Typically, how do online retailers handle situations like this? They ship something wrong and send a return label for the incorrect item. They've corrected their mistake by sending the right item but the consumer has yet to return the incorrect one. Do they just write it off or have they forgotten about it?

How do I work with a problem employee?

If you don't like the volunteer and you are in charge, you simply tell the person her assistance is no longer needed and ask her to leave. It isn't rocket science. The... show more

The fact that you've taken time to type all of the issues up but are afraid to confront her says that you are passive-aggressive. Stop. Just tell her that her negative attitude and inability to find solutions to accomplish the goals make her unsuited to the task. This is what managers do.

It wasn’t picked up, so I took it with me to work and gave it to our UPS guy that delivers our stuff. 2 months later it’s still lost and apparently it was never scanned. I’ve opened a claim with UPS twice and they’ve closed it twice. Where do I go from here?

  • Why did Bank of America charge me $11 as a monthly service fee?

Best answer: Call them and ask, if they raised rates you would have gotten something in the mail about it with your bill. If it's a fee added on for cash advances, they'll tell you.
