• Will a Black man ever be cast as James Bond?

Best answer: Yes. (I thought of Idris Elba two years ago.) As long as James Bond is British, he can be any color.

  • What 1970s action movie should i show my friend next?

Best answer: Dirty Harry, The French Connection, Shaft, Logan's Run, Grand Theft Auto, Smokey and the Bandit, The Warriors.

Some were better than others, but many of these will give you a real good feel for what the '70s were like.

BR (1982) is one of the best films ever made. FE is a good movie, but nothing about except the special effects is landmark.
    BR1982:
all star cast (Ford, Hauer, Young, Wong, Olmos, Walsh, Cassidy, Hannah)
there's at least 5 different versions of this film to watch
    script and concept is awesome
    sets were awesome
I've seen BR1982 at least 20 times in my life (and seen each version at least once) - the 20th time I watched it I still found something I had never seen before.
even today (2018) - has points to ponder: what is the exact definition of human life? are the replicants human? do they have a soul? in our real future, should we engineer superior humans? (if yes - isn't this what the Nazis were trying to do? if no, how do you stop it from becoming a reality?) should we engineer pseudo-humans to use as slave labor (especially if they only live 4 years)? if we create slaves, should we prevent them from breeding?

  • Was Snow White really very attractive?

Best answer: The tale is very old and has changed many times, but in the original version written by the Brothers Grimm in 1812, she was the most beautiful in the land. Her vain and jealous stepmother tried to have her killed, or tried herself, to kill her.

  • Do you think it's weird Queen Amidala was 16 and Anakin Skywalker was only 10 when they fell in love?

Best answer: 10? I thought he wasn't even 9 when he first met her. He fell in love with her (or at least had a crush on her) immediately but she just saw him as a little kid. Meeting him again their age difference, plus their history, still made things really strange.

This has led some people to hypothesize that Anakin actually (ab)used the Force to make her fall in love with him.

That would certainly explain how a 26(?) year old would ever seriously consider a 16-18 year old who, let's face it, is basically a space monk.

This would also help explain how Anakin seems to switch over to the Dark Side so quickly and easily after, literally, a lifetime of distinguished service on behalf of the Jedi order.

So I asked before if my best friend and I would survive Jurassic Park if we were in the movie and 5 out of 6 people said we would get killed. We are both not bad people, but we would likely try to sneak out a couple extra fertilized dinosaur eggs that nobody would miss anyway, just so we could sell them and get enough cash to never have to work again and live our dreams of traveling together. Or we would do something as equally bad, but something that seems just and not that bad to us. I mean who cares if we steal a couple eggs, it does not hurt anyone. So since everyone said we both would die, how would we die? Would we die some dumb way like in an accident, or would we be eaten by dinosaurs? If so which ones? Do not spare the graphic details of what would happen to us. Best death scene for us wins.

  • What are the essential “old” or “classic” movies that I should watch?

I’m a pretty big film buff, but I realize that I’m young and haven’t delved into old films. I would like to broaden the scope of my film portfolio. I would like to better define old though. I am very familiar with 70’s and 80’s cinema. When I say old, I mean like pre-Godfather. Thanks!
