Alright so please tell me if im wrong here. So I was with my mom today and we had to fill out papers for upcoming volunteer work that I have to do in order to graduate. When I was filling out one of the questionnaires i did it in pencil to avoid mistakes as you would know. Now keep in mind she says that she has not been well lately and when I said to her does it matter if I did it in pencil she popped off saying yes it s a legal document and that I need to. So to get to the point i said i did not know and she started saying "why the **** do you always argue me everything, I need to get my **** together or im done living here and she went to my brother to berate me and threaten to "choke me out". I had said nothing wrong or offensive as I no she is not feeling well but she still said im a piece of **** and she is the adult and im the "asshole son" and she s done giving a ****. Am I truly an asshole for this? Or Is she going way too far now. Btw im 16 :/

  • I think I accidentally inhaled a tiny piece of black tape, will it come out on it’s own?

I think I accidentally inhaled a tiny piece of black tape, will it come out on it’s own?

Best answer: I understand that 'inhaled' means it passed through your nose. Since the nasal cavity is connected to the esophagus via pharynx, that tiny piece of plastic will go first in your stomach to end up in your feces a few hours later.

My boyfriend and I are currently in a three year relationship. In the three years we were together, we had only ever gone on four dates. Two outings. When I moved away, I could only see him once every six months. But even then, he stuck by me and stayed loyal. I admire that, and I am grateful for that. He has expressed disapproval towards interracial couples. He is white, I am oriental (Chinese/Vietnamese). He used arguments that applied to either genetics or environment; he ignored my argument that both contributed to a heritage. Specifically, he said that the blacks brought slavery to themselves and said that no matter what, they had lower IQ. He said it was in their culture, and mixing black and white would turn the child "genetically inferior". When I asked him about us, he said that "white-asian couples benefit the most, second to asian-asian couples". I know he possibly could have said that to reassure me, but it made me feel like he was only in it for the benefit. He said that it benefit the both of us. Adding onto the fact that he told me he had a particular liking towards asians; I felt like I was being fetishized. Finally, he attempted to guilt trip me by saying he could have left me, but he didn't. After hearing what he said and how he completely discriminated, disrespected and insulted other races that didn't seem "acceptable" or "beneficial" to him. I don't know what to think. I'm in shock. I've tried talking to him; he doesn't listen. What do I do?

First, the thong piece in between the toes is so uncomfortable and sometimes the strap rubs the wrong way on the foot and causes blisters, especially when you sweat. Second, your feet get very filthy after walking in them outside for a while. Thirdly, they offer no protection on your foot. So, if someone clumsy steps on your foot or something falls on your foot, you're looking at a lot of pain and a possible broken toe. And lastly, they are harder to walk in since they are not 100 percent secure on the foot. If I was ever in danger and had to run for my life, whether it be a car in the street about to run me over or a criminal running after me, then I'd be in real trouble. So why do people insist on wearing flip flops and how can they wear them despite all those issues I just mentioned above?

Best answer: Because of bad parenting, if a child learns to accept failure, learn, and move on from there then they (HE or SHE) will be more successful at life and not take rejection, failure, and disappointment personally and rant about it

Best answer: It's normal to wish bad things to happen upon people who do bad things. Here are some bits of advice.
    1) Improve yourself by the event. Keep more aware of those around you and avoid high risk situations.

    2) A person can hurt you as long as you let it. The hate inside is hurting you and not the person who took your purse. You can't know why he did it exactly, but assume his need was greater than yours. People that steal things often have little alternative. An arrest, prosecution, and imprisonment costs society money, and you are part of society. Think of a way to let go.

    3) Physical things, whatever they are, get lost, damaged, broken, destroyed. They are THINGS. You are a person. The things lost could have included personal ID, maybe credit or debit card(s), club cards. These things you should keep records of on a list and what to do to invalidate old and get new. Other items can be repurchased. Think of your loss as losing THINGS. You could be hurt physically in a robbery. Personal injuries is not about things. Feel lucky it did not go worse. Fight to hold to purse, and in some cases you get slammed in the head and knocked to the ground.
