Hi there. I have 1W leds, 3.6V and 0.35A are max voltage and current rated for these leds. I tried to calculate resistors value for a circuit that contains 8 leds. But I had the problem of over heating resistors, because 0.35A is quite a lot. So I bought a constant current led power supply that output 350mA and 48V. As I connected led it burnt out. Now, I thought leds are burning when you don't have any resistor in a circuit and you supply even a little bit more of voltage needed. Since led is a diode, it will be crossed by a lot of current and eventually die. But why did it burn with a constant current led power supply? Isn't the current constant at 0.35A, the one I need? So how is the proper way to wire up leds in this way and why? Would you please tell me the best you can about leds, because it's annoying seeing them die ahah

  • What is wrong with my microwave?

Best answer: You don't enter seconds beyond 99 on a microwave. When you enter "120", your microwave defaults to "1:20" or 80 seconds - 40 seconds short of cooking time for your burrito.

The VCR/DVD Player is also hooked up to it and works great. I'm just having problems with the antenna.

It is not allowed to have a microwave in a room. I put the microwave inside my wardrobe and the box above it. The reason they found it is because there was a random checking of the rooms in my campus.

  • Is it a good idea to remove batteries any time I’m not using them?

Duracell AA batteries still have a small amount of power used if they’re in an appliance that isn’t being used. If I continue to take them out and put them only when I use them, is that saving power? It seems like it would, but I want to be sure.

Best answer: It is safe as long as the total current draw is not excessive.

Today's technology rarely draws too much because

So last night I decided to sneak out with my mom s keys for the first time. So I had my fun and what not, snuck back in. Everything was cool but then I remembered she has one of those Progressive Snapshot devices plugged into her car. I remember her telling me that it tracks the speed, and I went over a hundred miles per hour on the freeway, multiple times. What else does it exactly track? And I think it sends all the information to her phone, so I m wondering what I should do about it? And if she does see it and questions me about it, what should I say? Because if she finds out that I took her car out there s a very high chance of me getting kicked out of my house. Again. Please help me come up with a solution or something believable I could tell her. Thanks.

  • Why are hurricane lamps not common nowadays?

They seem to be hard to find, you can find them online but in general, it’s not like you can go to your local store and pick up one.

  • Why has my touch lamp stopped working?

I got a touch lamp last year for Christmas and it’s really good, well it was. Today I went turn it on and it didn’t come on so I touched it again and the bulb blew, I changed the bulb and now it doesn’t work at all, i didn’t have wet hands so it wouldn’t have broken from that. Any ideas as to why it’s stopped :(

Best answer: It's for liability reasons. I have that same warning on my mattress. It's kind of messed up just how many toxins are in everyday items and food. But what can you do? You can't hide from the world. The average human body is extremely resilient. That's why most of us don't get cancer, even some people who smoke/drink for years. So you just have to trust your bodies immune system. It is sad that some people are prone to cancer, but contrary to popular belief it doesn't really have to do with the things that cause cancer as much as the person themselves. A resilient person can take twice the amount of toxins that's a cancer prone person can take and be just fine. Needless to say it's always smart to avoid these toxins, nobody is invincible. I'm just saying if you're cancer prone there isn't a whole lot you can do to avoid it, and if you're not cancer prone then you shouldn't worry about it other than just boosting your immune system. Best way is a good diet and exercise. Just being healthy in general.

Long story short without all the rambling, just live your life. If it's meant to be it's meant to be. You can't live in a safe little bubble and expect to enjoy your life. So hang up your Christmas lights and enjoy them too..

    3. Keep an eye out for a road-kill kitty, cut the ears off, and superglue them to your headphones. But unless you preserve them first they'll quickly stink.

NOBODY makes and sells what you want commercially, because there's no profit in doing so. Buyers would want to pay sod all and the makers would need to work out how to provide a universal attachment and make them in a huge variety of designs to keep customers interested. Retailers HATE having to stock umpteen variations of the same cheap shite, especially when it's for a fad which can suddenly go out of fashion leaving them loads of unsellable stock.
