I'll have a million at some point, it will probably be when a million is worth half a million now. I could make it more, by working hard, but I really don't have much incentives. If I had more money, I"d like to party, sex drugs and rock n roll. I don't even really have that as an option. Do you know what I mean? I could spend decades building up the equity in my property, for my retirement, and then have totally shifted my focus, and you know, what am I going to do with it then? Heroin instead of morphine? I just want to be left alone for the most part, doing what I do.

Say if I have a big account with around 100,000 in buying power should I use that as big position or smaller hold smaller positions, Like as example if I trade a stock with a big market cap like telsa and high trade volume I should not have a time get in and out right? I also only day trade. so a better and simpler way to put this... Should I use my whole buying power in one stock or use smaller positions?

  • How realistically can you make a profit from the stock market and investing if you only have a couple thousand?

Best answer: Realistically, if you're good at it you might manage to gain 10% per year.
That's not going to turn just $2000 into any decent amount of money within your lifetime.

If you had a choice between investing (owning) a property that you could rent out and get a monthly profit from OR would you rather invest your money in owning a marijuana dispensary? Lets say for example you had $300,000 to spend. You could only choose one of those two options to spend it on. Which would you do?

In simples terms, these are like a savings account, but usually your money is tied up for a specific amount of time 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, etc. These are safe with fixed returns that are going to be better than a savings account, but of course with safety comes limited returns. A quick google search puts 1 year rates at about 2.75%
