• What tattoo artist is best for the work described? ?

  I am getting my first tattoo and noticed there are many different artists styles. What I want is a tattoo with the concept of the image provided. I will have it modified to be three spades instead of one, which one will be blue one will be purple one will be black. I’d like the sword to be modified to be some kind of righteous holy sword and the crown will be made to represent Jesus Christ’s rose vine thorn crown above the sword then I’d like to put the name Stephanie in the same font as the thorn crown both crown and name with blood on them. The clouds may or may not stay the same depending on how detailed the artist can make the work what the artist thinks will match best I’m looking for the most detailed artist that can do the best job on this. I’m getting it on my lower right forearm. 

  If anyone knows about different art forms when it comes to tattoo work which would be the best choice artist to look for this piece to be done by?

• How to guys feel about girls with tattoos?

  I'm just curious about this. Before getting my tattoos I really thought it was a major turn on for guys, making a woman look powerful. I personally love tattoos, I'm just trying to get other people's perspectives on it. I have a phoenix down my side (almost like a dragon). It starts at my rib and goes down to my hip bone in all black with nice detailing. It's def a tasteful tattoo. Just wondering what guys think I guess haha (not that it matters at the end of the day as long as I like it.

• How Does a Tattoo Artist Cover Acne scars?

  I have acne/bug bite scars on my upper shoulders, side arms, chest and bum. I want to get tattoos to cover it and while I have some ideas, some of the scars are on areas I can't see (though someone else would be able to, like my lower back for example.) If I get tattoos to cover them (never been tatted before) would I just tell the artist the kind of things I like end they try to create a design or would they try to figure something out after looking at my scars? I'm an artist so I thought about drawing some things but I realize now that the artist might find it easier to work with what they see so I'm not sure if I should just let them decide after seeing the marks what to do with that area to better hide them.

• tattoo artist charges me $380. is this a fair price?

  here's a photo of what would be my tattoo once done. a quote, with a leaf crown around it.

   ignore any of the red markings you see. that's just a drawing the artist did on the chest after i discussed what type of tatt i wanted.

  the artist took a photo of me, and worked up this design for my tattoo. he sent it to me and it'll work.

  they told me that it would cost $380.

  idk if i'm being ripped off or not because this is my 1st time getting a tattoo so they could try and fool me by overcharging. i think the price is a bit too much. but this artist is one of the best artists i've seen in the city. better than the average. i've looked at several tattoo artists websites and found this one to be the best
