My problem is when I open a specific program my laptop froze and i have to force restart.
example: Google Chrome, Firefox, IE, Skype. Half of my games on steam APB reloaded, CSGO, CS Source and my "Prt Scr" button. It's really annoying, I already scan my system for virus only a few minor warnings came out. When I switch to "Safe Mode" I can run any of the programs no problem. I already install/uninstall the programs and still the same. What seems to be the problem? any help you could give me...~2 AnswersSoftware7 years ago

a few months ago updated my BIOS...and I found out that my graphic card is not stable I mean when I play games like battlefield 3, COD, Dota, CSGO..I can see shuttering and spike GPU usage that makes my FPS drop..my temp is around 70-80c while playing, It all started with the BIOS update..I want to restore it back..do I formate my PC or restore it to the factory setting.??3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks7 years ago
I have A
Acer Aspire 4755G
Intel Core i5-2430 2.4GHz Turbo Boost to 3.0GHz
Nvidia GeForce GT540M 2GB
4GB DDR3 RAM
My problem, I get fps drop in almost every game I play..battlefield 3, dota 2, LA Noire etc.
I know my laptop can handle games pretty well, and I already tried lowering the graphics but its still the same..I used MSI Afterburner and I see that my gpu Temperature are at a maintain
70 -72c...always below 75c when the fps drops the gpu usage are always 9, 18, 22, 45%..I have a cooling pad..why is this happening? and what causes this fps drops? is it because of the dust filling inside?
- already defraged
- alrady ccleaner
- updated the drivers.1 AnswerPC8 years ago
