  • How should i respond to what my friend said about my dad?

I don't like what he said. My dad was dead since i was 4 so i don't really know anything about him. I know my dad converted from Muslim to Christian as my mum told me. I have a Muslim surname.

My friend said he thinks my mum is lying about my dad changing to Christian and said people don't change from Muslim to Christian. I gave him an example of someone in my church who converted to Christian from Muslim and he said they're confused. He also said not much people go church yet lots of people go to the mosque. My friend only recently moved to England. This is why i'm glad i've lived in England all my life, it has allowed me to be open minded.

Now i don't have any problems in what people believe and don't want a fight about religion on this question.

  • My friend copies my schoolwork?

I'm in college and am doing the course i don't like due to starting college late. My class is full of imigrants and my friend is one of them. He always asks me for help and now it's becoming annoying as i can't focus on my own work. In ICT and mock tests he copies me, in a real test if he asks me any questions or trys copying me i'm going to pretend i can't hear him or see him cause i don't want to get disqualified. For some homework he asks me if i can email the homework to him. He doesn't copy the homework though but i don't like giving out my work.

Recently in a dream i had i found myself yelling at him, in real life i would never do that as i'm shy, i need to learn to be more assertive and not do everything he tells me to do.

I feel i wouldn't keep this friendship if i don't help him in class in work and he always sits next to me. Without him it would be easier to focus on my work.

  • why do we have to see being quiet as a negative thing?

i don't, i find quiet people relaxing. i don't like the fact you have to talk every 5 seconds nowadays.

  • becoming jealous of my sister?

i'm really good but the problem is i'm starting to be a bit badder to my sister because she always gets complimented from mum's friends and i never but i think it's because of my shyness which is getting worse.

my mum buys her a lot as well and said i should be like her

i'm 16 and used to be like my sister but was different, now i could see myself changing because i have to start 6 form.

i think my anxiety is bullying

  • i'm really shy and find it so hard to express myself and i've been like this for a long time?

i told my Auntie and mum i am and they don't believe me. i might try going to a self help group but i'm afraid of their reactions.

i've realised my mum is like this, not to be rude and she always says i'll never have illness like she says she does. i tried going with what she was suggesting, as i tried being really kind to her as she has to me but now she is starting to force me to do everything she wants, i want them but shyness does get in the way of it.

i realised my mum also finds it hard to express herself but it seems like she doesn't want to admit it and doesn't want me to admit it. My Aunt who is a kind teacher is also helpful but she is too controlling. i've just realised my mum puts lies on top of the reason she doesn't have friends coming. my aunt forces me to go to a church i don't want to and says her children got over stuff without help groups and stuff. but honestly i think i'm not getting better even though she is helping me.

when i brought something i messed up and lost the bag.

my mum and aunt don't believe in psychology and they control me too much i'm going to get help now. but i can't seem to say no to my aunt she is smart and helpful but i hate to say i hate going to what she advices for me and my mum which is church for over 5 hours in the daytime. i like church but also want to do other things. i want to get help but i'm so afraid of their reactions

  • why are some people really sensitive about what others think?

i am and because i'm shy i get criticised about my shyness and feel like being quieter. i don't know why i don't feel like listening to them. i think it's because they think shyness is easy to get over.
