• ### Laptop Keyboard gives off multiple characters. Urgent?

When i try to start my laptop, it continiously beeps, idk how many times, and it wont start, butbi tried to randomly press any of the function keys (f1-f12) and the system starts. But i noticed right away that hitting some of the keys gives off multiple characters. For instance,

Pressing 7 gives 7*

h gives hm

V gives gv

And so on. Not all the keys are messed up though

Can you please give me a soltuion to this problem, i tried to search the internet but i cant find any concrete soln.

Could the beeping because of the keyboard? I dont have any external keyboard. Please help me with this one. Does cleaning the keyboard (removing the keys and cleaning them) helps the problem? Hoping for you guys helpful responses. Thankyou!

P.s. my laptop is lenovo g570 runnig windows 10

• ### Is this differential equation linear or not?

(dy/dx)^2-2x^2=0

Okay from the first look, we know this is not a linear DE because (dy/dx) is squared, BUT WHAT IF we transpose -2x^2 to the right hand side, then get the square root of both sides? Rhs wil become rt(2)x, rt(2) is a constant and therefore satisfy the form of a linear de. Am i right? Is manipulation like that allowed when defining the linearity of a de? Thanks

• ### Calculus easy maximum problem confused?

So the problem is

A rancher has 400 ft of fencing with which to enclose two adjacent rectangular corrals. What dimension should be used so that the enclosed area will be a maximum?

Let x be length

Y be width

So my initial secondary equation is 4x+2y = 400 and got x as 50 and y as 100

But my friend said that the secondary equation should be 4x+3y=400

He said that the fencing in the middle should be included? Is he right?

Should it be 4x+2y=400 or 4x+3y=400

And please explain thanks
