Just need a little opinion as to which option I should go for.
I've been using torrents for a long time, probably average about 20gb worth of downloads easily per month. Call me slow, but i only recently stumbled across "Newsgroups" that seem to offer guaranteed faster download speeds, with less risk at the cost of about US$10 per month (approximate price that would cover the size of my usual monthly downloads).
My question would be, is the cost of $10 per month worth it? Cash really isnt an issue for me, but how quickly I can get my files is, i.e. Will I be able to watch that latest TV show on the same day its screened with minimal waiting via downloading? Are files in newsgroups updated as frequently as torrents? Are they as easily searchable?1 AnswerOther - Internet1 decade ago
Hey guys, I think my previous post got eaten.
I'm a little curious as to what Gartner does exactly. I know they are an IT consultation firm, but what exactly does an IT consultation firm do? Do they sell software in the form of a product? Or do they provide purely advice?
If so, what advice do they give? Such as what software to buy for the running of the company, or is it more along the lines of doing research into market shares for a particular IT product.3 AnswersSmall Business1 decade ago
Sorry folks, I'm not a big fan of lugging around those massive DSLRs that seem all the rage right now.
Unfortunately using anything OTHER than a DSLR seems to land males in the "Voyeur" category. Any recommendations for a decent camera that doesn't weigh a ton, and doesn't make me look like a complete perv? T_T5 AnswersCameras1 decade ago
Okay as we all know Bill Watterson has ceased drawing Calvin and Hobbes for 14 years. Yet his legacy continues. I would really love to possess an autographed copy of one of his books. Would appreciate it if one of you kind souls could direct me to a seller, and maybe give me a rough price estimate of how much it might cost me?
Many thanks!5 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade ago

Well as it stands, my PSP cannot detect ISOs or CSOs, it used to detect them just fine. I tried transferring in a ISO and all of a sudden the PSP couldnt detect any games in the memory card. A quick check on my saved games showed i could still view saved game info, which means my mem-card is still working. Reformatting the memcard via the psp didnt seem to help.
So what do you guys and gals think is the problem? And what steps would you recommend that I take?1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade ago
