My son loves eating he weighs only 16pounds. I feed him oatmeal in the morning 1 jar veggies in the afternoon and 1 jar at night , I feed him sperate from his bottle because of the refusal to drink it . Alternating his feeding and bottle helped a little bit but not a lot he drank a 4oz bottle only 4 times today. I've tried adding juice but it doesn't help.
Is this normal?
He loves his food but should I stop?
I will see his doctor March 6th but until then I always like to hear motherly advise most of the time it's what makes the most sense. :)7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago
Recurring Mastitis and yeast inf... guilty for giving up breastfeeding, & how do I switch to formula?
2 month old boy
I am slowly VERY slowly decreasing my pumping I haven't had any engorgement but now I'm on my 4th case of mastitis and I've had a yeast infection since I started BF. I've taken every kind of med and every precaution to prevent this, 14 days of Diflucan only worked while I took it. Mentally this is taking a toll on me and stressing me out which in turn does not help my marriage although my husband is very sweet and supportive I've become a raging B*tch.
How do I change to formula slowly or cold turkey? I have lots of frozen milk.2 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago
I got 150 diflucan but to my kowledge I thought with a yeast infection on the breast I thought you take more. Has anyone had to take it and if so for how long & did it work? They also told me to pump and dump, but why if Diflucan is given to babies for yeast?
Nystatin just made mine worse it didn't get rid of my baby's thrush either. I've been pumping and bottle feeding so his thrush is mild.7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago

I have nothing against vegans it's just that every time we go out to dinner it's a battle because we have to go somewhere he can go and 99% of the time he picks where we eat without asking anyone where they would like to go. This is really getting on my nerves, is this normal on my part to get upset about?22 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan1 decade ago
Can I wash bottles, nipples, pump parts, etc... in a bleach solution and not boil if I have a yeast inf. ?
I'm so tired of boiling my parts every day so can I just use a 10% bleach solution. I've looked this up online, with no clear answer.6 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago

I know I shouldn't feel embarressed but I feel weird and a little awkward about having sex with my husband?

I have nipples that are blistered and sore, I'm pumping and feeding my 3 week old but I'm not healing, HELP?
I've seen my lactation consultant and my OB they think it may be a yeast infection. I've been using monistat for 2 days with no improvement and I'm also on anitibiotics given by my OB for a mild case on mastitis for the last day. My nipples and areola are bright pink with clear blisters on the ends. After pumping I also look like I have bruising on the ends of my nipples. Lanolin doesn't help. My lactation consultant said she had never seen nipples as bad as mine and that possibly I'm having an allergic reaction to the plastic from the pump. My setting on the pump is as low as it can go. Now that I have no clue what is going on with me latching on my son is the last thing I want to do. If my nipples don't heal in 2 weeks I'm going to quit.18 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago
