Hi, I'm writing a research paper and i have a problem with citing: So I put in an in-text citation from a article I found, but the citation i put in wasn't written by the author of the article, the i cited a quote from an article. My question is when i parenthetically cite this, do i put in the author of the article's name or do i put the person who said the quote and then put the author in the works cited? thanks
When restating my thesis in my conclusion, should the words be exactly the same in the introduction?
like should it be word for word the same?
Right now i have a 100 average in my english class for this marking period. and my teacher assigned a research paper that is worth 40% of the marking period grade. Tomorrow is my first anniversary with my girlfriend and i was just wondering if cheap jewelry is an acceptable gift? I got her a heart-shaped bluish necklace with little diamonds around it. Is that okay? I'm only 16 and I really cant get anything too expensive.3 AnswersOther - Holidays8 years ago
I need someone to explain to me how the Law of Increasing Opportunity Cost can relate to a Production Possibility Curve. The data of the PPC is consumer goods (cars) and capital goods (forklifts): For 0 cars, you can produce 30 forklifts. For 2 cars, you can produce 27 forklifts. For 4 cars, you can produce 21 forklifts. For 6 cars, you can produce 12 forklifts. And for 8 cars, you can produce 12 forklifts. I would really appreciate on how the Law of increasing Opp. Cost can be related to the PPC. Thanks1 AnswerEconomics8 years ago
Why did Bill Clinton say that Obama has done more than himself and his predecessors? What I want to know is what change did obama make for the better?5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government8 years ago
I was just reading a question about how this guy was explaining how since the presidential election in 2008, America has been going in a certain decline in business, growth, and hope. I mean he said a lot more with lots of interesting comparative facts, but I'm just giving you a simple summary to keep it short. And not to mention, he was clearly a Romney supporter who was trying to voice his opinion which I have no problem in(the fact he was expressing his opinion, i strongly believe in the freedom of speech). But i was recently going to answer his question and after i signed in, i found out that his question had been deleted. But when i thought about it, he didn't use any profanity, inappropriateness, or vulgar content. He was just voicing his opinion which i thought was a clearly logical argument between the two presidential candidates. So why would his innocent question be deleted?6 AnswersYahoo Answers8 years ago
I have to read one more book for summer reading and I'm stuck between picking up "Slaughterhouse-Five" by Kurt Vonnegut or "One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey. For those who have read them can you please just tell me which one to read and why? I just can't decide. Thanks1 AnswerBooks & Authors8 years ago
