Whether a person has a clear vocational self-concept or not influences one’s vocational selection and job decisions. Moreover, individuals who have a clear vocational self-concept are better able to make self-adjustments, modify their self-orientation to satisfy the requirements of changing job roles and responsibilities and seek out jobs better suited to their self-concept.

최근 경기도 일산 MBC드림센터 '잘했군 잘했어' 촬영장에서 만난 엄기준은 최근 그의 주가가 높아지고 있는데 대해 "나의 매력에 대해서는 나도 잘 모르겠다. '목소리가 좋다'는 이야기는 들었지만 배우는 연기를 잘해야 하는 것 아니냐"고 어색한 미소로 반문하며 "여하튼 이번에는 시청률이 좀 나와줬으면 좋겠다"고 말했다.
실제로 지난해 초 끝난 MBC TV 시트콤 '김치 치즈 스마일'부터 '라이프 특별조사팀'를 거쳐 KBS 2TV '그들이 사는 세상'까지 최근 그가 출연한 드라마는 시청률에서 큰 재미를 보지 못했다.
