My period is 4-5 days late, I had sex around my time of ovulation. We did use a condom, but not the whole time. I've had to pee a lot the past few days and I've had a few bouts of dizziness/nausea, but it just lasts maybe 15 - 20 minutes. I have taken 3 HPT, one the day after my missed period, one the second day after my missed period, and one today, all negative. My period will sometimes be a day or even two off, but never more than that.
I'm trying not to think about it, because I don't want to just be delaying my period with stressing about it. But before I missed my period I wasn't thinking about it or worried.
I know no one can tell me if I'm pregnant, but I'm just wondering if it's possible even with negative tests. If I still don't have my period in a few days I will retest.2 AnswersPregnancy8 years ago
For about 3 weeks now the left side of my right big toe has been numb. The numbness spans about 1 - 1 1/2 inches down my toe towards my foot.
I got a tattoo 4 weeks ago on this same foot, so I had been wearing flats to keep the tattoo open (not allowed to wear flip flops to work). By the end of the first week, the very back of my foot, where the back of the flat hits was very sore/painful. So I switched back to wearing my Toms, cause my tattoo was mostly healed.
Once I stopped wearing the flats, I noticed the numbness in my big toe. I figured it was a lingering effect of the flats, and would go away in a few days. Well, it has been 3 weeks and it isn't any better. Anybody have any idea what could be going on? Perhaps I just permanently damaged a nerve? I'm thinking about going to the doctor next week, just to be sure it's nothing serious, but I just wanted some other opinions. Thanks!3 AnswersOther - General Health Care9 years ago
My younger cousin just turned 10 so we are going to Charlotte for the weekend. She is getting to go to Ikea to get stuff to redecorate her room, but we will be there almost all day Friday, and all day Saturday. I've been trying to look up some other things we can do but I can't seem to find much. I thought maybe someone from the area would have an idea of some fun activities that 2 10 year old girls would enjoy. Preferably free or cheap. Thanks!
FYI - she loves doing crafts if that helps..2 AnswersOther - United States9 years ago
I have some leftover stuffed pepper mixture (rice, beans, mushrooms, corn, and onion) that I am going to reheat and cook with some more peppers. The mixture was frozen for not quite a week, and I put it in the fridge yesterday for it to defrost. It looked like it got a little bit of freezer burn on it. Not sure if that will affect the reheating process.
I was thinking to just put in in the frying pan, maybe with a little water. Just wanted to see if you guys thought there was a better way to do it. Thanks!3 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years ago
I just made some turkey tacos, which I make often since I do not eat ground beef. When cooking the turkey, it smelled different than normal, almost like a whole roasted turkey would smell. I have never noticed an odor when cooking ground turkey before.
I thought it may have been because I was cooking it straight from the grocery store, so it was completely de-thawed. Normally, I take the meat out of the freezer and put it in the fridge for only a few hours before cooking it, so it's still a little frozen.
However, after eating a few bites of the tacos, I could tell it didn't taste right at all! Like I said, I make these often, and these just tasted weird. I threw it away, but I was just curious whether it was spoiled or not, and whether I should expect to get sick from it! I feel a little nauseous now, as does my mom, but it could just be a mental thing.3 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years ago
Example: You remove a roast from the oven, and hot juices splash on you. Your reflexes would cause you to drop the pan, but you hold onto it. How does the cerebral cortex override the reflex?
This is a question for my A&P class and I cannot find the answer in my lab book, text book, or online! Any help?1 AnswerBiology1 decade ago

Hi, I have a DSLR camera (Nikon D40) already, but I was interesting in trying out a film camera. I found a Pentax ZX-M with 2 lenses (A Pentax 50mm lens and a Vivitar 58mm lens) on Craigslist for $45. I am not familiar with film cameras, so I am not sure if this is a good deal or not. I talked to the guy and he still has it, so I was thinking about going to look at in the next couple of days.
If I do end up going to look at it, what are some things I need to look at? As I said, I know absolutely nothing about film cameras, but would like to get one to learn. Any info on the price of this camera/what to look for in it to make sure it works all right would be much appreciated.
Here is the Craigslist ad if that helps:
Pentax ZX-M Body
Pentax 50mm Lens
Vivitar 58 mm lens-
UV Lens Cover
everthing is in good condition and the lens have no scratches. I love this camera but its time to up grade. Help me make room for a new camera.2 AnswersPhotography1 decade ago
Who are you voting for?
I am for McCain, but I can't vote (I'm 17).
Either way, whether you are voting McCain or Obama, you should listen to this. It's pretty disturbing that these people are going to be picking our next president, yet they don't even know what they are voting for!9 AnswersElections1 decade ago
So, I am trying to sign up for an online college course for the second eight weeks of the first semester. And the only thing available is Introductory Linear Algebra.
So what exactly would this cover? What previous math do I need? I have taken Pre-Algebra in 8th grade, Algebra in 9th grade, and I took Geometry in 10th grade. I'm done with high school now (graduated 2 years early) but I'm not sure about this math class.
It has been over a year since I've been in school so I'm a little nervous about starting again. I just want to make sure I will remember everything/have the previous knowledge I will need to do okay in this class, especially since it is online.
Anyway, my question is what kind of material will be covered in this class? What exactly will I need to know? Is it a good idea to take this kind of class online? I do alright in math, it's not my best subject, but I probably average a C overall.
Thanks for any help!1 AnswerMathematics1 decade ago
Where is the best place to keep your toothbrush so that it does not acquire germs and bacteria? I used to keep mine either sealed in a zip lock bag, or with a cover over the bristles.
But, I just bought a new one, and I was reading on the ADA website that you should not keep a toothbrush in a closed container because bacteria grow better in a moist environment.
So now I do not know where to keep it! I definitely do not want to keep it out in the open, right next to the toilet, cause that is just gross.
Should I just keep it in my room or something? Please help! Also I don't want to do things such as putting it in the dishwasher (that just sounds nasty, putting your toothbrush where you put your dirty dishes), but what about cleaning it in boiling water? Not trying to sound like Monk here, but now that I've been reading about all the bacteria and germs that can grow on your toothbrush, I just want to make sure it's clean!

I need to know what else to write, other than thanks for the money, in a thank you card for graduation money. Especially something for my grandparents, as they gave me a lot of money.

....because the other day I walked in the gas station with my sister-in-law (she's 21) and they wouldn't let her buy cigarettes because she came in with me and I am a minor (16). I didn't think they could do this and I looked but couldn't find any laws or anything that say something about this. Thanks!13 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade ago
