I got the RCA RTD317 Home Theater System and I'm trying to listen to the FM radio. There is an FM antenna input thing but the antenna itself is nowhere to be found and I don't think it came with one in the first place. Do I have to buy that separately?1 AnswerHome Theater1 decade ago
You know, like they have in the Wire. I'm in the Philadelphia area.3 AnswersCar Audio1 decade ago
In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE there is a folder labeled "238DEDB294C2A636CBCE479C47EAOF99" and inside it are a bunch of nonse REG_SZ things. For example:
It frightens me because they all end in exclamation points and there's a bunch of stuff wrong with my PC.
I don't think I want this file in my registry editor and I think it should be completely deleted. Anybody know anything about this?3 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade ago
My computer is riddled with viruses, can't use Internet Explorer, Firefox, Flash, or any anti virus?
-I can only use Internet Explorer, with annoying error reports
-I can no longer use Mozilla Firefox, error report then crash report
-I can no longer use Adobe Flash player, no more videos
-I can no longer use ANY anti virus, nor can I download one completely
-PC makes a BLIP! noise every ten seconds or so, from the speakers like a soundclip
-Had a lot of Malware a couple weeks ago, thought I fully removed it, might not have, might have even damaged what I can't use anymore a little bit.
-One of them was called Cyber Security, I forget what the other ones were called because I quickly removed them manually from registry editor.
I need a PC Sherlock Holmes to read what I just typed and use some good old fashioned deductive reasoning to diagnose what I have and tell me everything you know about how to manually remove viruses from a PC. Throw some common Malware names at me so I can see if it was one of the ones I had. Also, do I need to download patches for IE, Mozilla, or Adobe, or add anything else to my computer like a System 32 patch? Sorry, I don't know much about computers.16 AnswersSecurity1 decade ago
I just bought a black suit, three buttons, but there's something wierd about it. It looks good and all but I feel weird about it having three buttons.2 AnswersFashion & Accessories1 decade ago
It's by some girls, possibly the Go Go's. The chorus sort of repeats "How does it feel" but it's not the New Order "How does it feel." It's different, more girly, might be from the early 90's.
Sounds like the Go Go's + "How does it feel?" = ???
It was in a bunch of movies. Possibly the movie Smiley Face if anybody's ever seen that one.8 AnswersOther - Music1 decade ago
Ok, here's the score.
-I believe I have a terrible virus.
-This virus makes a BLIP! noise every few seconds or so. (Not from the tower, from the speakers like a sound clip)
-This virus also won't let me use ANY antivirus programs.
-This virus also won't let me use System Restore and won't let me defrag my computer either.
-This virus has recently told me that I can't use Mozilla Firefox anymore (the crash report comes up every time followed by an error report.)
-This virus makes an Internet Explorer Error Report pop up every ten or so seconds, which I have to keep not sending.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF VIRUS I AM?
Here's what I think I have to do.
-I believe I must manually get rid of this through the registry editor.
-However, I don't know what the virus is called.
-I seem to remember having malware on my computer before that ate up my MalwareBytes. (Couldn't use it)
-One was called Cyber Security (or something) and the other was something of the same variety. (I'm sorry, I forget what it was called because I thought I had thoroughly removed it the first time.)
-Can anyone tell me how to manually remove things in the registry editor? Like, how to spot things that don't belong on my computer.
-Can you also tell me if I need to download anything like patches or some kind of antivirus that works through viruses that don't allow antivirues.
-I basically need someone who knows everything about PCs and how to get them up and running again.
Just tell me what you know, I don't care how long it is. Sorry if I sound like a douchbag but I'm in the middle of a full on virus attack and it's ruining everything I had planned for today.1 AnswerSecurity1 decade ago
For a little while now I've been having problems with my computer. It's been making this BLIP noise every once in a while and everything's been running slower. Now the BLIP noise is about every 3-5 minutes and neither Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer works anymore.
It's a miracle I'm even on Internet Explorer asking this question right now, I don't think I have much time. Error reports keep popping up for Internet Explorer. (I just got like 8 while typing this question) but I've been moving them to the side. Firefox is impossible to get into without a crash report and error report.
Somebody PLEEEEAAAASSSEEE help me. I think I have computer AIDS, and I'm not sure downloading an antivirus program is gonna do anything, so give me something better than that.2 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade ago
Christians just LOVE to criticize Atheists on here, so I'll throw in my two points I suppose. How, after science has proven every single religion wrong time after time, blow after blow, can anyone still believe in God anymore?
I mean, all you really have to do is open your mind up for one second and the answer will come rushing at you like a ton of bricks. But no, you all refuse and purposely close your minds to the truth and it's pretty much destroying the world. So, how? Just how?32 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
I have an RCA RTD317 home theater system hooked up to a Sony Wega KV-27FS120 Trinitron.
The surround sound only works on DVD's and I'd like to hook it up so I can watch TV in surround sound.
Is this even possible, and what kind of wires do I need?
If you are familiar with what I'm talking about, a quick run-down on how I set it up would be appreciated.
Links to the actual products on Amazon would also be appreciated.2 AnswersHome Theater1 decade ago
I'm pretty sure you just have to carefully lower the hammer while keeping the trigger held down, but I just need to be sure for safety's sake.11 AnswersHunting1 decade ago
Just bought a S&W .38 Special. Wondering if I need a license to carry to take it back to the shop to try it out.
If so, how easy is it to get a license to carry in Pennsylvania?7 AnswersHunting1 decade ago

I'm trying to get rid of a virus, but every time I try to run an antivirus program my computer says "Choose the program you want to use to open this file:"
Does the same thing for registry editor and basically everything else.
Is there anything I can do about this? And please don't tell me to reformat my computer or spend any money. Those answers will not become the best.1 AnswerProgramming & Design1 decade ago
