Why is it unacceptable for men to have a sexual experiences with a man and consider himself "straight"?
It is widely known and accepted that a large majority of women have, at one point or another, thought about (fantasized) having sex with another woman. Many women have had sexual experiences with women but are still considered "straight"...the whole "one experience in college doesn't make you bisexual or lesbian" ideology. When men do the same thing they are automatically "gay", "homosexual", "bisexual" or need to categorize themselves. Why are the rules different for men? Why can't they have an experience (or single relationship) with another guy without everyone freaking out and labeling them? Why the double-standard?11 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade ago
